Official US Artemis Fowl Site Revamped!

The official US Artemis Fowl website has just been given an amazing new look and loads of cool new features! The countdown for July 15th has begun! (Note: UK fans would be waiting for August 7th for the release.)

If you live in the US or Canada, you may also be able to see Eoin Colfer’s Faries, Fiends, and Flatulence show live via simulcast in a bookstore near you!

@cathrel – If you live in the Metro Manila area, I’ve got some great news for you. Artemis Fowl: The Time Paradox is going to be released BEFORE July 15th in the Philippines! 😀 I just emailed Fullybooked–all branches, in fact–and they’ve confirmed this. Here’s what Aubrey from Sketchbooks said:

We have a good news for you because we currently received our new shipment and this book was part of it. We didn’t sign any contract to follow the release date listed in Amazon so we’ll be selling this book before its actual release date. This book will be out within this week as soon as we finished processing our shipment. The price of this book is P648.00

You may want to call our customer service in Fort (858-7000) to have your books reserved or request our customer service to call you as soon as the book is on display because our quantity may not be enough.

Hope that helped. 😀 And for Filipino AF fans, well, lucky lucky! 😛 You get to receive them before the 15th [if you can go get them at Fulybooked at The Fort, at least]! 😯

PS: It wouldn’t be possible to reproduce the entire Chapter 1 on here without having to type the whole chapter, I’m afraid [I actually typed up the plot summary, by the way, because it was way shorter than Chapter 1]. Maybe you can try making a screenshot of each of the pages and print them. 😛 That would work, too. 😀

Darvit : AHHH!!! ZOMG! before 15th of july?? omg! and it’s only at P648.00??!! OMG! my 700 is enough! [been saving for breaking dawn actually, but hello this is ARTY we are talking about!!!!!] is it hardbound or softbound?

too bad i don’t live in Metro Manila, but my older sister is there for college!!! i should tell her!!!!! is it only in FULLYBOOKEd at The Fort? and not other FULLYBOOKED branches in metro manila??

Yeah, I guess it’s only going to be at Fullybooked at the Fort. I do recall a couple of years ago when The Eternity Code was released… The Philippines and Singapore [I think] started selling the copies A MONTH EARLY. It was at Fullybooked in Rockwell. I’m guessing that the one at the Fort surpassed the one at Rockwell in size, so yeah, that’s what Aubrey said. It’s going to be at the Fort branch. 😀 Go tell your sister to reserve a copy for you! I don’t think that they have a lot in stock. And yeah, it’s hardbound, I believe. I gave them the same ISBN number, and they confirmed that they’re going to sell the US ones.

Really? Phils and Singa? Dang!

I just told my sister about it, and she says its too far. 🙁 and that she’ll just check it out in National Bookstore in TriNoma or SM North EDSA. 🙁 man, i have to wait THAT long? 🙁 Life sucks.

WOOOOOOHHHHHHH!!! I see TTP already release here, 11th of July, in Hong Kong! I see it on shelf in bookstore!
But I didn’t bought it yet, because I want to buy the US one.
This yellow(golden)one is so shiny!!! I force myself don’t read it in the book shop yet, I have to read the one I buy later!!!!!

Yeah!! I’m counting down until Tuesday.

The site looks really great, and it doesn’t take forever with the visual effects like some other sites, where when the novelty wears off, you’re waiting for the page to fully load for two minutes.

Don’t know if that made sense. Oh well.
