i think the third director the alfonso?? not sure but anyways that guy totlally nd i mean totallly messed up the movie worse than the first two which was better than the recent diractors.. confused?? i m too
anyways hp movies r horrible for the fans b/c the directors change nd leave out important details or parts... i think every1 can agree on that!!

No, Alfonso Cuaron was a great director. And J.K. Rowling looks over the screenplay to make sure they don't leave anything important out.

Chris Columbus was the first director, and he sucked. The third and fourth were great.

sry but i totally think different. no offense but i think the third one Alfonso Cuaron sucked!! i hated what he did to dumbledore making him look like a retarded hippie with the poytail beard. nd messing up the landscapes in which at one part they make anarea that was sup to be flat into a hill.. there were a lot of minor details he got wrong.. nd he left out the quidditch matches which was the first yr gryffindor actually won!! nd billions of little stuff like that.. yes i used to be quite the Harry Potter fan but ever since the sixth book i've steadily decreased my craziness over hp..lolzz

I agree with AF_roxz. I liked the first 2 movies of Harry Potter but I really didn't like the 3rd and 4th. No offense but they left out so many details. PLEASE don't let them do that to Artemis Fowl! For the HP books, I liked all of them, but the 6th definately isn't my choice.

Judging by your name you want Arty and Holly to get together. But the problem is Holly's older than him. Anybody else notice that in the second book (I think) Eoin Colfer said that Holly was about twenty/thirtiesh but in the fifth book she suddenly turned eighty something?

Sorry for the A/H shippers, but I'm a A/M shipper. I just can't see all the differences in Holly and Artemis. She'll outlive him, she's way shorter etc. No offense.

OMG! That's exactly how I feel! About HP I mean. In book 6, she didn't write it in...JK style. It was...different.

Anyways, back on AF. Even if Holly outlives Artemis, I just can't see her as the weeping type. I mean, Arwen was way more...feminine. You know, the pretty, glamorous, elegant...like Angeline Fowl. But Holly is like, bouncy and colourful. So I just can't imagine Holly in widow's clothes and weeping all day long.

Not a lot of people like Minerva. scratch that. most of the girls here will kill minerva if they got a chance. besides, look at it this way, if minerva and artemis end up together, it would be like marrying yourself because they're so alike. btw, how did you (you meaning everyone that reads this comment) find out about this site?

But think about this, if Artemis gives a quantum physics lecture, will Holly be able to understand? And maybe Minerva has changed over the years and has become...a better person (haha, that's even more Mary Sue-ish). Maybe she'll still have the genius thing about her, but her ruthless personality will fade and she'll turn more...kind?

Anways, I think it would be good if she wasn't THAT pretty in the beginning. Like she be average looking, then she gets a makeover and gets way prettier. Haha, that would be funny.

I know that I am extremely weird but I think that Hermione was somehow created by JKR almost totally cloning me. Aside from her bushy hair, eyes (just ignore the Hermione in the film, think about the book character) and TOTAL teacher's pet ishness she is pretty much exactly the same. Almost always on top, but she gets critcised and shunned by her peers for it and then FINALLY shows everyone how pretty she is in book 4. OK, maybe I'm not her clone, as I do not get totally shunned. But I used to. So that's probably why I like HP so much then, whereas I like AF much more than it now. Probably because I can relate to Artemis, like I did with Hermione. And also when I'm in a bad situation I think "What would Artemis do?" Very weird I know but it helps. Sometimes. Half the time I say to myself, "Artemis wouldn't have gotten himself in this situation idiot" But you get the point. If anyone else would like to tell me something about what I've just babbled on about, or telling me that I'm not completely crazy, then feel free to do so.
