That's a ninja mask. He(LegoMan)read a fic with the twins playing ninjas and ity inspired him to draw this after I showed him my hamster pics. And I finally found out what the twins look like! Beckett is blond with green eyes and Myles has raven hair with blue eyes!
how?!?! THEY. ARE. TWINSSS!!!! it says that beckett has curly blonde hair, and it never says what myles looks like. i'm pretty sure it mentions them having blue eyes somewhere in TTP, and going from TWINS i would assume that they are identical.~lets out breath~ okay, now that my rant is done...i got the TAI graphic novel yesterday!!! *squeeee!!!!* jenny and i didn't even know it was out...till we missed the 7:30 showing of cloudy with a chance of meatballs (rlly good movie, btw) and had to wait 2 and a half hours for the next one at 9:50. so we went to booster juice (because they insisted on it. i didn't get anything ~shudders~ i hate smoothies) then indigo, where after after about an hour of screwing around i turned around in the graphic novel section and *squeeee!!!* there it was! opal looks kinda weird though...so far (i haven't finished it yet) my fav pic of her is where cudgeon shoots her out of her hoverboy...but there are a few amazing pics of holly in this one, u guys gotta read it. well, i'm gunna go finish reading it now...got like a quarter of the way through last night when we got home from the movies, only to realize it was after midnight... bye! ~skips off to get book~
I would read it if I could 1. get a hand on a copy and 2. didn't despise the GN with a fiery passion because of how they screw up the characters from our fan point of view. And twins doesn't necessarily mean identical. Besides that I saw it on a /fanfic/. My information was totally unreliable, I'm just assuming it was correct because I've seen a lot of fics with them described that way. Oh and, just wondering, doesn't Myles have glasses? I thought it mentioned somewhere that he has glasses.
no, it never mentions glasses. but think about it: one, it says they are twins. generally when an author writes about twins, it is meant to mean "identical" unless stated otherwise.
two, if they were not identical, it would also provide a description of myles, would it not? eoin colfer always describes his characters, and because he did not decribe myles, that would mean that there is already a description to fall upon, i.e: beckett. ~smirks~
y'know what? i think there is some group of ppl that sent questions to eoin to be answered...and he answered, so maybe if we found a way to contact him we'd be able to ask him. i unno how...ummm...anybody here on facebook? u could search for eoin...and maybe at the same time ask him if arty and holly r supposed to be together? CUZ I SURE THINK SO!!!
If you do find some way to contact Mr. Colfer(that's right, I actually give him a little respect)could you ask him if he'll be expanding on minor characters at all? You know like Caballine, Grub, Chix, Trouble, and Angeline? Well we know he's expanding on Angeline, but the other people.
I know, that was funny. We know that Beck has 'sticky blonde curls' AF & the Time Paradox, it rarely mentions them in the Atlantis Complex, and it DOES say in TTP that 'Myles was cut from the same cloth as himself, a natural born scientist' which always makes me imagine him as looking like a mini Arty. I think they both have blue eyes. It's a Fowl thing.
Does anyone else imagine Angeline to have brown hair and eyes even though it doesn't give an explanation? I think a lot of people do, even though logically, she must be blonde, or one of Arty's Grandparents must be. Or Beckett's just a genetical glitch.
