Trouble Kelp came home from work to find Holly on the floor.
“Holls? What happened to you?” he asked
“A..Alas..tir he..hit me and….”
“It’s OK Holls I’m here” he said lfting her on to the sofa. She put her arms around him
“I love you” she said
“Holly..this may not be the way I imagined this…” Trouble began but he had to show her that he really did love her
“Will you marry me?”
Holly’s POV
I felt so much pain and then I heard the door close,
“Holls? What happened to you?” Trouble asked.
I struggled to tell him I just kept looking at his eyes -sky blue, warm and gentle
“I love you” I told him
He looked really nevous “Holly…this may not be the way I imagined this but..”
Then he pulled out a silver ring with an emerald and either side of it a small diamond
“Will you marry me?”
I kissed him and said “Of course I will”
Alastir (still furious that Holly had got a good few punches at him) couldn’t believe this.
Trouble Kelp, Holly, Foaly, Grub , Ash Vein, Molly, Kate, Chris (AKA Holly and Trouble with their friends) all looked so happy. Why? Then I saw it. A ring on Holly’s finger. How dare he?
“Holly’s mine” he thought so he marched over to her and said
“What’s going on Holly!”
By this point everyone in the bar was watching
“I finished wih you” she replied
“Listen if you want me to hurt you keep going” Trouble said standing in front of Holly now “because I would kill you”
Alastir started to yell insults at everyone and the manager screamed “OUT!”
But on the way out he threatned to “kill you Short”
So Trouble went out after him. PUNCH, PUNCH.
Alastir tried (and failed to punch him back). Trouble then punched him again and again and said
“Leave her, she’s mine. You lost”
“Listen Kelp. Some very dangerous people are going to be after you soon” Alastir said before running off.
When he came back Foaly couldn’t help but worry this guy wasn’t going to let them be happy.

Hey, darlin’. I found this on your FF page and figured I’d read it. Now I think I’ll go read the FF one. By the way, loved the second poem about the greyhound on you page. It made me think of my husky, Collin. Well, not as much, Collin’s pretty stupid. I called him downstairs for food one morning, and he came running down, skidded on the wooden floors, sprawling past his food dish, and hit the bar. Molly and I were laughin’ for what felt like five minutes. He was so embareassed. I loved it. But the story was darlin’.
