The next morning Holly got up and changed as she was walking down the stairs she heard someone scream. She ran down, and was about to enter the living room when someone got a very firm grip of her.
It was Trouble
“Do not, I repeat do not go in there for your own safety!” he warned her
She looked through the glass door and Trouble’s mother was having a fit!
“The Marshalles! They’ve got a head start!” she screamed
“The who have got what?” Holly asked
“The Marshalles, they live across the road they’ve already started to put up their Christmas lights Mum’s tried to out do them….four years now” Trouble explained
Mrs Kelp came out of the room
“Trouble I’m going shopping for more Christmas lights with your father” she said before storming out cursing the Marshalles all the way to the shuttle.
Holly looked around the house. It had been decorated already!
There was an amazing tree, tinsel at draped over the fire place and there were candels, little trees… more decor than the department stores had! Where was she expecting to find more?
But no one could shop like Ilene could. No one.
Trouble sighed “Poor dad” he began “He’s the one who erm…finances all this”
Ilene came back. Holly was shocked for the elf had purchased-
- enough lights to cover the entire roof
- Three fake snowmen
- Ice sculptures
- A further five holly wreathes
- Enough red flowers to open a floweriest
- More decor for the already crowded tree
And they were still unloading more! How much could fit in the one car?
Holly stayed inside and she and Grub (were more or less ordered to) cover the tree in more lights and decorations! Grub complained every second of every minute.

Mean while outside…
Trouble and his dad were on the roof
“If that little pixie thinks she’s going to win she can…” his mother muttered.
He knew people wondered why his dad stayed with her. Everyone loved his dad. He must really love her.
The ice sculptures were placed and the fake snowmen were changing colour every five seconds, the wreaths were hung at every window. They’d only the roof to do.
“Come on son” his father said. Trouble looked at his dad his hair was getting a little grey.
The roof was really wet, and dangerous one trip and you’d fall all the way down.
“OK” his dad begun “If you work there and…”
He lost his balance
“DAD!” Trouble screamed. He heard two screams one was his fathers, the other was Holly’s!

No they shouldn’t!! holly and Artemis are so different not to mention Artemis only see’s her as an ally. Gosh i H8 holly/Arty love stories. They make me sick!! (but they’re still pretty good) apart from the pairing. Eoin Colfer put a post up saying thatin the next book there was gonna be something between Holly and Trouble in a Love sorta way! YAY!! anyway thats all i have to say. TYVM
