Song used: Cry for you - September
I never had to say goodbye
You must have known I wouldn’t stay
While you were talking about our life
You killed the beauty of today
Forever and ever
Life is now or never
Forever never comes around
People love and let go
Forever and ever
Life is now or never
Forever’s gonna slow you down
Holly sat down in a grassy field in Tara, Ireland. She had just come up the chute, waiting for Artemis. It was three O’ clock in the morning, and Artemis tried to find the fastest way to Tara without Butler noticing. He finally arrived to find Holly fast asleep in a heap of leaves.
“Holly.” Artemis whispered at first.
“Holly?” He then said in a scrambled tone.
Holly’s eyes flickered open to the sound of Artemis’ voice.
“Artemis, I thought you’d never come. I’ve been waiting for you for an hour.” Holly said checking her watch.
“Holly, I asked for your presence today because I am sorry that I tortured you with my cruel lies.” Holly was just about ready to slap Artemis like it would shove her troubles away, but then …
You’ll never see me again
So now who’s gonna cry for you
You’ll never see me again
No matter what you do
You’ll never see me again
So now who’s gonna cry for you
You’ll never see me again
No matter what you do
You never heard me break your heart
You didn’t wake up when we died
Since I was lonely from the start
I think the end is mine to write
“Holly!? What are you doing here!!??” Minerva said high pitched, between a scream and a whine.
“Artemis! What is that Mud Girl doing here? You said this was a ‘private meeting.’” Holly said impatiently.
“Settle down, ladies.” Artemis said unlike himself. “Minerva what are you doing here?”
Minerva now had her hands on her hips with a sour look on her face.
“Nothing important. In fact I was just leaving.” she said flipping a blonde curl back. Then she turned around and walked back to the car idling on the road.
“Holly, I swear I didn’t invite her.” Artemis said innocently.
“Artemis you’ll never see me again. In fact I was never here. Who will cry for you now?” Holly shielded then stopped to finish the slap she held off for Artemis, then disappeared.
Forever and ever
Life is now or never
Forever never comes around
People love and let go
Forever and ever
Life is now or never
Forever’s gonna slow you down
You’ll never see me again
So now who’s gonna cry for you
You’ll never see me again
No matter what you do
You’ll never see me again
So now who’s gonna cry for you
You’ll never see me again
No matter what you do
By the time Artemis got back to Fowl manor, it was five-thirty in the morning and Butler was awake by then, lifting weights in the gym. He tiptoed to the den to have a talk with Artemis, but thought to proceed back to the gym by the sight of Artemis so sober.
“Butler, where do you suppose you are going?” Artemis asked, even though he did not hear or see the bodyguard come in to the room.
“I just … I was going to …” Butler looked puzzled.
“to have a talk with me about leaving the household without advising you.” Artemis finished Butler’s sentence.
“Yes, but now I see you are busy.” Butler answered lamely. Then he left to the kitchen, sure Artemis was hungry. As soon as Butler left the room, Artemis used his ring, a communicator, to call Holly. But no one answered except for a voice message, “Sorry, I’m not here at the moment to answer your. In fact, I’m not sorry. I am out with my REAL friends, having fun.”
Forever and ever
Life is now or never
Forever never comes around
People love and let go
Forever and ever
Life is now or never
Forever’s gonna slow you down
You’ll never see me again
So now who’s gonna cry for you
You’ll never see me again
No matter what you do
You’ll never see me again
So now who’s gonna cry for you
You’ll never see me again
No matter what you do
“I just ruined our relationship for the second time.” thought Artemis.
Holly was taking a stroll by Spud’s Spud Emporium, awed by all the couples sitting down and eating together. Well, until she saw one gnome couple run to the bathroom after getting food poisoning. Holly ran to the nearest restroom, not in disgust of Spud’s Spud Emporium, but to call Artemis on the communicator she gave him.
Artemis saw an incoming call on his ring. He went up to his room for privacy and turned his ring around to face his palm.
“Hello? … Artemis.”
“Holly. I know, I know. You called to yell at me.”
“No! I called to say sorry about what I said yesterday. I was kinda rude not to ask if you REALLY did ask MINERVA to come to. It’s just hard to trust you, with what happened, you know, lying and blackmailing me.”
“I can understand what you’re going through, and it was only last week when you were still a teenager.” Artemis admitted.
“Well, I guess I was also to hard on Minerva.” Holly said.
“Oh! Minerva! I forgot to call and say sorry for the little mix-up!” then Artemis turned his ruby ring around and called Minerva.
You never heard me break your heart
You didn’t wake up when we died
Since I was lonely from the start
I think the end is mine to write
Forever and ever
Life is now or never
Forever and ever
Life is now or never
Forever’s gonna slow you down
“Is Minerva there?” Artemis said.
“Yes? Wait … Is this Artemis?” she said, ready to hang up the phone.
“Wait! I wanted to say sorry.”
“Five minutes, Artemis.” Minerva said, rushed.
“Well, sorry about yesterday. It seems you are not the only girl I said sorry to.”
“Actually, Artemis, it was my fault. I wanted to visit you, but you were not home. So I hacked into the tracker, your fairy friends sprayed onto you. It is a quite amazing device. So I found out you were in Tara and I drove the car my father bought for me.”
“But what were you doing out so early?” Artemis said confused.
“I didn’t want my father noticing I was gone.”
“Hmmm …” Artemis said stroking an imaginary beard.
“Yes. I see.” Artemis took one glance at his wristwatch and hung up the phone.
You’ll never see me again
So now who’s gonna cry for you
You’ll never see me again
No matter what you do
You’ll never see me again
So now who’s gonna cry for you
You’ll never see me again
No matter what you do
Forever and ever
Life is now or never
Forever never comes around
“Artemis, time to go!” his mother yelled, from the lobby.
“It’s time to go!” the twins said in perfect chorus.
“I’ll be right there Mother… Mom.”
By the time Artemis finished his conversation with Minerva, Holly had snuck into the room.
Artemis turned around to grab his coat, when he accidently kissed Holly, who was in the way.
“Artemis! You foolish MudBoy!”
“Holly! I didn’t see you there.” Artemis said.
Holly unshielded and blushed. “I didn’t see you there either.”

It’s well written, but I don’t think that Holly would be that mean, because they made up at the end of TTP. So I guess the characters were a bit OOC. It was still good.

Well when I finish the story, I’ll keep that in mind.
Thanks for the comment!
