Sha la la la la sha la la la la
You used to call me your angel
Said I was sent straight down from Heaven
And you’d hold me close in your arms
I thought of the way you felt so strong
I never wanted you to leave
I wanted you to stay here holdin’ me
Tears poured down Holly’s face. “Why? Why did this have to happen? Why?” She remembered last Christmas, Artemis took her into his arms. He went through so many things. Now, that was all over.
I miss you
I miss your smile
And I still shed a tear, every once in a while
And even though it’s different now
You’re still here some how
My heart won’t let you go
And I need you to know
I miss you

Her heart ached as she knew she would never see his smile again. More tears slid slowly down her cheek. “I miss you so much.”

And now I’m livin’ out my dream
Oh how I wish you could see
Everything that’s happenin’ for me
I’m thinkin’ back from the past
It’s true that time is flyin’ to fast
She faced a problem. There was a war. She wished he could be here, with her. All those times they had together, it had just disappeared.

A blast was heard. More tears fell. Bits of blood splattered on Holly. She wished he was here so he could stop this. The only thing that kept her strong was his smile she had remembered.
I know you’re in a better place, yeah
And I wish I could see your face
Oh, I know where you need to be
Even though it’s not here with me

She touched the ground, fighting the urge to dig and see his face once more. She didn’t care if it was cold, pale, and lifeless. She didn’t care. She resisted though.
I miss you

And I still shed a tear, every once in a while
And even though it’s different now

And I need you to know

“I miss you so much. Thank you for everything. No one will ever forget you.” With that, she turned away from Artemis’s tombstone and flew away to join the war.

Well, Artemis died during a war. Holly is crying because he did. Things would seem out-of-character because of that.

Seriously, you made me really depressed. I could tell by the title that it was gonna be sad, then a war? Then… oh… Arty’s dead.
That was exactly what I thought.
Not that I don’t like this, I like this a lot, in fact, but it was depressing. I think you shouldn’t let depressed people read this, they might just do something drastic when they see their fav book character is dead.
Off to rate this five.
