Prequel on chapter 2.
Artemis glanced around the room nervously, trying to avoid the intense gaze of the… girl(using the term lightly, mind you) in front of him. He could almost see the look of malice on the girls face. The only thing keeping him from seeing it was the black hood over her head that iersed her features in darkness. The only thing he could see was blood red eyes that seemed oddly trained at his neck…
The girl advanced, causing the raven haired boy to take a useless step back to where his heel was presses up against the wall. He gulped and the girl sprung, pulling back the hood and leeching onto his neck. He tried to yowl in pain, but no sound escaped his lips.
His world suddenly began to spin, black spots dancing in front of his eyes. He was beginning to pass out from blood loss. Although as soon as it had come, the feeling passed. The vampire girl released, jumping backwards.
“Oh God.” She sounded terrified. “No. No, no, no, no, no!” She slowly walked backwards. Artemis’ normally blue and hazel eyes were now a lovely shade of crimsion, much like the girls own, and he was paler then before. With his mouth slightly agape the girl could see sharp fangs now protruding from hs gums.
She shook her head, as though that would turn back time and stop what she had just done. Blond hair hid her once more as it slipped over the left side of her face. “P-please forgive me!” She stuttered, slowly making for the window. “I didn’t mean- I mean I haven’t- And I had to-!” Tears came to her eyes and she jumped out the stipp open window, leaving Artemis to face his demons -and find out he had aquired them- on his own as the clock chimed midnight the day before All Hallows Eve.
