Loading ...Flashback: Two years previously
She stands there, hesitating. Wondering if she should, but knowing in her heart that she cannot possibly.
Artemis kneels on the floor, eyes beseeching her to accept. He has changed so much over the years. For her, because of her. She had been that catalyst in his transformation from genius to human.
Now she was his love.
His life.
Why does she still hesitate? Is it not clear? Does she not love him?
Just say yes.
Say yes.
Her eyes fill with tears and she looks away. In that instant he understands. She is unwilling to leave her career, become the gossip, leave her friends. But still. Does she not love him?
“Sorry, Artemis.”
Holly leaves him with those two words.
She had always known that he would understand.
He did, but it didn’t help the hurt one bit.
Had his love counted for nothing?

Minerva should be hit by a bus and why did everyone die? How old is Arty supost to be is he’s asking Holly to marry him and his little brothers are climbing mountains and dieing in cars!
