“So well thought.” said Artemis, after Holly told them everything. He was impressed. He admired the mysterious pair. Holly was in another world. Sister? Why sister?
“Foaly. What do you know of veelas of vampires?” Holly said into her microphone. She heard an intake of breath. “What?” she demanded. Foaly didn’t answer.
“Foaly. We need to know the facts.” Artemis prompted. Foaly took an audible deep breath before answering.
“The Veelas and the Vampires were once part of the People.”
“WHAAAT???” exclaimed Holly.
“Let him finish.” said Artemis, intrigued.
“They were exiled by the Fairy King long ago for overuse of their… special talents. You see, vampires technically aren’t alive. They feed off blood for energy but their hearts don’t beat. Some vampires try to drink only the blood of animals because of their fondness of human company, but others attack and swiftly clean out an area of humans. They are physically attractive to ‘lure’ in their prey.” Holly looked pointedly at Artemis. Artemis ignored her. “Veelas on the other hand, are still alive and still have beating hearts. Apparently the scent of their blood is too sweet for the likings of vampires, but as they are very similar talent-wise and physically, they band together. Veelas are usually girls, and they have the talent for charming animals and humans.” Holly looked pointedly at Artemis again. Artemis scowled back. “Both veelas and vampires neither sleep nor eat and both have extreme speed, super strength, amazing swimming abilities and both are physically cold. Oh, and one more thing. Neither age. We have no idea how old they could be at this moment.”
Silence followed.
“Wow.” said Holly, breaking the silence. “That explains why Butler never had a chance.”
“I think ‘wow’ is an understatement.” said Artemis.
“And their names are Gaia and Edward.” mentioned Holly.
“Hmm. Gaia, Greek goddess of the Earth.” thought Artemis aloud.
“And Edward is rather old-fashioned. Early 1900s, I think.” added Foaly.
“So all that’s left is to ask what they want.” said Holly.
At thay moment, Artemis’ ring phone vibrated. He took a deep breath, and answered.

It was kind of confusing at the beginning, but I like your style! I didn’t think it was bad, contrary to your belief, and I will definately have competition in the contest!

unlike some stories i’ve read, artemis really matched the one that eion colfer wrote, and that’s quite a feat to achieve. i saw only one spelling mistake and overall, it was great.

Now that I’m finished, I’m even more confused about the end. You ended the story at an aburpt stop. One of the most important part of the story is the ending, and all the readers were left hanging. No offense, but I kinda disliked it because of the unusual storyline, ending, and lack of the participation of the other major carachters. (what happened to Holly, Butler, Foaly, and Trouble halfway?)
