Minerva walked into Faire E. Copp’s office. In reality, it had been a simple matter for Holly to mesmerize the owner of the office building into letting her use it for her ruse, and the old man to let her use his DNA for her disguise.
Holly looked up from her supposed paperwork. She was cleverly disguised as an older gentleman, with a spiffy outfit of tweed trousers, checkered overcoat, blue shirt, and a purple and white polka-dot bow tie.
“Are you Dr. Copp?” said Minerva, sitting down in the seat in front of Holly’s desk.
Holly stood up. “That’s the name, marriage counseling is the game. Are you having trouble with your relationship?”
“Yes. My name is M-”
“Ah, we prefer that our customers names stay anonymous. Helps keep things clean. So, is there another woman?”
“No, not exactly. See, just lately, my husband has been acting strangely.”
“How so?”
“Well, a few weeks ago, he took our daughter to see strippers. He has never expressed any interest whatsoever in seeing strippers. Then he ordered an Olympic swimming pool for our backyard when I told him specifically not to. He was never like this before! I don’t know what’s gotten into him.”
Holly took off her glasses. “Well, it seems that your husband has a reason for acting strangely. I see this all the time. Do you leave the house often?”
“Yes, I hardly ever see him.”
“Exactly. That’s the problem. He’s doing this to get attention! He never sees you, and he just wants you to notice him more. It seems that the only way for him to get you to talk or pay attention to him is when he does something that he’s not supposed to.”
Minerva looked disturbed. “Oh, poor Arty! No wonder he seems so depressed all the time. What can I do, Dr. Copp?”
“First things first, you can apologize. Tell him you’re sorry. Then try to spend more time with him. Go do things together. See a movie, go to the beach. If that doesn’t work, come back and we will discuss more options.”
“Thank you so much, doctor!” said Minerva, walking towards the door.
Holly looked after her. That was too easy. She pretended to be a marriage counselor because she didn’t want her to see a real profesional. He might actually give her some advice that would help her.

Sorry. I had sorta a writers block. Perfectly normal, no? I am writing another story. My mind is devoted completely to it, so no good fanfics until that is posted.
