Loading ...Artemis Fowl had just run all the way to police plaza faster than he had ever run in his life. He had gotten directions of an old elf who seemed to scared by him to object. He stood outside panting and sweating waiting for his breathing to calm. He walked into Police Plaza, and straight up the main staircase and ran along the hall until he spotted a door with Commander Trouble Kelp written on it. He barged in and stood there staring at Trouble standing there staring at a picture of Holly on his desk. Trouble looked up in surprise,
” How-”
” Now is not the time Commander, Holly is in danger and I need to get to the surface to save her.”
” Oh… It was you who called. Erm, sorry about that.” But Artemis wan’t listening any more he walked briskly towards Troubles desk, and pressed a button which made a connection to Foaly, the centaurs operations booth.
” Foaly? It’s me, Artemis, I need your help.”
” It can’t be! Wow! How did you get down here?!”
” Opal Koboi is back.” That sobered Foaly up quickly.
” Your not serious.”
” Well unfortunatly this is not one of your beloved human soap operas and this is not a joke. Be reasonable.”
” Sorry.”
” We need to get a retreival squad up top as soon as possible and get opal arrested and Holly safe.”
” Off we go then.”
Two hours and many fights and arguments later…
Three figures stumbled from a small shuttle, a horse like shape, a small man shape and a boy. The boy walked forwards quickly towards the large manor. Suddenly Holly Short fell out of a window. ” NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!” shouted Trouble as he dived forward, catching Holly only just and only cushioning her fall slightly.
She and him fell to the ground with a loud thump and crack. Trouble was almost unharmed but holly had a broken spine and femur. Artemis ran towards them placing his hands on her shoulders and feeling the magic rushing through her targeting all her wounds. But he didn’t have enough magic to heal her completley and Trouble decided to take over. It should have been fine but Trouble had an internal bleeding and was using the last of his magic to save Holly. He healed her completley and then passed out on the grass. Artemis assumed this was just from tiredness. His first mistake.
That is how Trouble Kelp died. He gave his life to save Holly.
Holly was the first person to notice something was wrong. She crawled to his side when she woke up from her healing. “Trouble!” He didn’t move. ” TROUBLE!” she said louder. ” NOOOOOOOOOO!” She sobbed loudly over his lifeless form for about a minute. Then she kissed his already cold lips for one last time and set oout to find Opal Koboi with Artemis and Foaly.
This time, either Opal died, or she did.

Magnificent! Best romance story ever. I love the tragedy of Trouble dying, and then you created Ivy to bring him and Root back to life. I love how you brought Opal Koboi into the story, and how you made Ivy die in the end. A few grammar issues here and there, but nothing worse than a couple missing letters. If you haven’t already, I would enter this in the Holiday Fanfiction Contest. A five star story!

Sorta, to quick as in events happen without warning and they come one after another, but it was good.
