My mother is making me keep a diary. She says that “You’ll be glad you did it when you’re 60″, which is probably true, but I simply don’t have the time to keep one. Between school, internet, and crime, I just can’t find the time for it. However, my mother insists that I make time and write in it. So I am. My entries probably won’t be that long, because I don’t want to do this in the first place. I might find time someday and write a long entry. But for now, let’s keep it at this.

Spring Break is almost over. I’ve noticed Artemis has been gone a lot more than usual. Even mother doesn’t know where he goes. Whenever I ask him where he’s going, he just tells me that it’s no concern of mine. He’s probably doing something with the fairies again. If that’s true, then I want to go with him. Beckett wants to go, too. But we’re still not sure whether or not he’s doing anything. But I’ll keep my eyes peeled for anything suspicious.

We found more evidence of Artemis doing something with fairies. Artemis doesn’t know this, but I know the password for his e-mail. There are several e-mails from Holly. They said something about Hybras and the demons. I’m not sure what it all means, but I’m pretty sure Artemis is up to something he’s not telling us about.

Not much new information to share today. Artemis never left the house. But he stayed in his room all day. I’m not sure what he was doing. I’ll investigate later. Once, I caught a glimpse of him on the Comair Website. Comair is an airline, so he’s definitely going to fly somewhere. As to where, I couldn’t tell you. But I plan to find out.

Artemis left early this morning. When I asked mother and father where he went, all they could tell me was “America”, and that he left at 4:00 AM this morning. He took Butler with him, of course. He refuses to go anywhere without him. Just like I refuse to go anywhere without Juliet. I’m taking Juliet with me, once I figure out where Artemis is going. To find out, I’m just going to have to do a little hacking…

I did some more hacking today. I’ve narrowed it down to the state he’s going to: New York. Maybe a third hack is required to find out the exact location.

The results of my third hack prove succesful! He’s staying at the Hilton Hotel on the west side of town. He’s meeting Holly there. His e-mails didn’t say why, but I’m thinking it’s more than just a reunion.

I can’t go to New York. My parents won’t let me. Just because I’m 6, they don’t think I’ll be able to go by myself. Well, not exactly by myself. “Juliet and Beckett will go with me!” I told them. But the answer remained no. I’ll have to think up some excuse to get there. But now that I’ve asked them, they’ll be expecting that. This will be harder than I thought…

Whatever Artemis is doing, I’m missing out on it. Tomorrow, I’ll ask my parents if I can go to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I’ll tell them that I need to do a report on it. Mother will most likely say yes, and father will most likely say no. If they do say no, I’ll have to resort to Plan B, which could be unpleasant for everyone.

hm…looks interesting! i can’t really say how good i think it is yet because it’s just the first chapter and it’s pretty short, but it looks promising. i’ll keep watching this!!
