Holly chose to park the shuttle behind the huge trees located near the humans’ settlement.
“This is it?” asked Piper. “The final battle, and there are just four of us?”
“We have Retrieval on standby,” assured Holly. “And this isn’t the final battle, none of the sides are prepared.”
“I bet Zidan is,” said Silver. “He sent the note, didn’t he?”
Loken briskly walked to the metallic door of Mud Man HQ.
“We can’t get in,” argued Piper. “Shaadia’s voice was accepted last time because she used to be in Zidan’s army.”
“Who said anything about accepting?” Loken smirked. Within a second the door had fallen inwards, and he had his sword out.
Silver’s mouth dropped open. “Are the Human defense systems really that weak?”
“No,” said the elf. “It is rather weak compared to me.” With that, he walked in and everyone decided to follow, Holly smiling dreamily at him.
