Artemis typed noiselessly at the computer as Butler stared over his shoulder staring half interested at what his principal was searching for. “Butler, mind my asking, but could you please, please, not hover?” asked Artemis and Butler stood straight.

“It would help if you let me in on your research, I hate surprises.” Artemis sighed at his bodyguards impatience and asked, “Butler, do you know why the Spaniards originally went to the Americas? Guess…” “Easy, Fountain of youth.” “Exactly.”

“So you’re looking for the fountain of youth?” “Nope, I’ve already found it, long time ago too. What I’m looking for is a ride to Angel Island, where I’m 99 percent sure it’s located.” “Only 99? Where’s the other one percent?” “The other one percent is off the coast of Bermuda, but still 99 is the bigger number.” “And what’s the problem in getting there?”

Artemis abandoned his computer for a moment and turned to face Butler in his swivel chair. “A curse, like that on the Los Cinco Muertes, the five islands of death or that of the Bermuda triangle. Pilots and boaters alike seem to believe that getting within 100 ft of the island is a death sentence. I think it’s impractical really, who ever heard of a cursed island, and even the prospect of immortality doesn’t sway them. I did get one Email response though, and I’m to meet the man in Italy in twenty four hours.”
