He was at the slave market when he saw her.
The slave market was primitive, but efficient. If you wanted a worker who needed only a place to sleep and some food, this was the place for you. But the complications you had to take care of yourself. Nothing here promised that it was legal.
She was a slave. She had been kidnapped, no one cared. Her background was of no use in this trade, everyone was equal, or as equal as the person who kidnapped them wanted them to be.
He was a rich aristocrat. He was looking for a contact he was supposed to meet there when he saw her. His eyes swept over the ground, and he saw her.
He met her eyes and the damage was done. He was captivated by those wide and innocent blue eyes. He didn’t know what he was about to do to himself. He would regret this. Later, much later, when he had found out.
He didn’t know this then. All he knew was that he fell in love with her eyes, with her, and he absolutely had to have her.
He bought her.
His name was Artemis Fowl the Second.
Her name was Zoraida*.
*Zoraida - uncertain, perhaps captivating woman

eh. pretty good but try to get a little longer chapters and try to get a little action later on. otherwise i like it so far. o and could you please try to read and reveiw my fanfic?

Artemis is slightly OOC. He would never by a slave. (Unless Colfer suddenly makes Artemis buy a slave which wont happen.)
Other then that good story so far!

I haven’t revealed anything, have I? Oh, that’s a relief, I haven’t. Thank god. I should update, but somehow I just can’t muster enough energy to do anything at all nowadays. I dunno why.

Did Zoraida mesmerize Artemis? I wonder…You have so many good stories, when are you going to update them?! Great beginning.
