If you want you can be Opal. I would have thought that you’re strong enough and smart enough to be ‘Butler’. Plus, if you’re ‘Butler’ then you get to know LOADS of martial arts and things and use things like your seashell sword. You don’t have to defend Arty or anything. In fact, you can beat him up as it’s a parallel universe.
