It was a dark and stormy night- or at least as dark and stormy generators underground can make a place. A shot rang out in the distance.

Holly woke, startled by the booming sound in the distance. She knew that sound anywhere, a neutrino 1000 , one of the oldest, most deadly of all of the neutrinos. She slipped out of bed and into her LEP suit. someone somewhere was suffering and she wasn’t going to wait around for a whiny officer (like Grub) to get out of bed and take forever to get to the scene.

It wasn’t a very long jog to the crime scene. She was the only officer there. Blood was all over the wall she leaned over the victim to see the damage. A giant hole through the arm. If paramedics didn’t show up soon The victim would die of blood lose. Being careful not to touch the dieing fairy she pulled out her phone. “Hello? this is officer Holly short on Acorn avenue. Someone shot a fellow citizen! I need paramedics fast! ”

“Ok.” said the voice on the other line. Police arrived promptly along with doctors. They carried the body away and left Holly an the people who lived on the street to be questioned. “So, Holly, why did you come here late at night?” asked Trouble.

“I heard a gun shot.”

“That’s not what everyone else said. They said that they heard a girl say and I am quoting here don’t make me do this! and clearly the victim was a boy.”

“Trouble, do I need a lawyer?”

“Let me do the questions. Now do you own any guns?”

“Yes, for police only, you know that!”

“What types of guns?”

“The Neutrino 2000 3000 and 1000 but The 1000 stopped working so I gave it to Foaly to dispose of.”

“And I presume that is the blood from the victim.” He pointed to Holly’s uniform. It had blood spatter all over it, even though she had made sure not to touch the body.

“Well I would guess so, considering I have no gaping holes in me!”

“Holly, as of right now you are our prime suspect. I am going to need to take a sample if the blood under you finger nails for further analysis. Also we need to take you in for voice testing to see if it was you who said “Don’t make me to this.” all right?”

Holly looked at her finger nails. for the first time she realized there was blood under them. and it wasn’t her’s.
