How could have been so stupid? He had lost her again.
He sat and remembered her anger and hurt. She had been so mad and hadn’t contacted him in a year. Every day felt like a year, Kelly meant so much to him.
She had been his friend when she was little, he felt horrible for she was taken away from him. It was too dangerous for them to be friends. He saw her after her mind wipe and operation. She looked so weak
“How could she want that? How could she pick the pain she’s in over her memories? OK some of them were terrible but she was such a strong person.”
He was distraught when they told him by the time Kelly woke up she would have forgotten him.
“She’ll never forget,never” Artemis told them “and I’ll always remember her”
He had. He missed her then she meet him again and all because of one stupid question it was over. She had no desire to speak to him after he’d asked her to assist him in a robbery.

I loved it. I will remember dannie. i give sympathy to Holly,trouble, & her brother!!
