for the
Holidays
A Fan Fiction Written in Only Ten Days, Enjoy!
This story takes place after the first book but before the second.
Also I hope it’s not too crowded with my OCs. If the words are in bold, then it’s an author’s note, or mini foot note.
Disclaimer: Sadly, I don’t own the Artemis Fowl series, or anyone in them. I also don’t own Green Day, MCR, Blink-182, or Good Charlotte. If I did, then I would be sitting in a Jacuzzi filled with money, while my personal servants popped custom made extremely fancy chocolates in my mouth whenever I snapped my fingers. On my own private island. But I so own Alex, Page (AKA the Shadow), Collin, Ella, Emma, Cody and definitely Andromeda. And I also don’t own Tubby. My friend thought of him and I thought he would fit into the whole ‘holiday’ theme.
Part One: Plotting of Evil Schemes
Chapter One: Introductions
Central Park, New York City, United States of America, December 15, 2007
The cold December air blew across the three girls’ faces. One was eleven, with short orange hair, that just barely touched the tips of her shoulders. She was dressed in punk-ish clothing, covered in with skulls. Alex was her name. She was practically famous for her amazing ability to drive anyone insane, by annoying them to death. The girl sitting to the left of her, who was quite deep in thought, had a name too. Page was very smart. Her level of intelligence was near Artemis’s own. She unique ability of being able to hide in the shadows, easily unnoticed. Her long wavy dark hair hung loosely down too her waist. She was 15 years old, and extremely well mannered, and had a civilized mind for her age, or practically any. Her eyes were deep chocolate colored oceans, with little hints of gold gleaming in them. They were quite an amazing thing to see actually, you could spend 10 minutes just staring into her eyes, wondering what they had seen.
The girl on the other left of Alex was called Andromeda. She was also eleven. And she too was deep in thought. She had her chocolaty brown hair with golden blond tips, was neatly put into a pony-tail. Her eyes were a deep brown, which matched the color of her eyes. Next to the other two, she seems quite normal. This was sort of funny in way, because she was so much different from the average fifth-grader. Or at least, so she thought. She was wearing dark blue jeans, and a purple T-shirt with the words “I’m in the Band” across it in shiny blue next to a guitar. Although no one could see any of their clothing because they were bundled up tightly in scarves, hats, gloves, coats, and boots. They were sitting on a bench in Central Park, New York City. 6 inches of snow surrounded them. It looked like a magical, wonderful little winter wonderland in Central Park. So pure…and white…and beautiful. And so very much unlike their plans, which just so happened to be what they were thinking so much about. For they were planning to kidnap the incredible Irish criminal master-mind, Artemis Fowl.
A Like ‘Half-Chapter’ sense I love to end on cliffies or when something dramatic happens.
Chapter 1 and a Half
How. That was the seemingly answerless question that they had to face. How would they kidnap someone so intelligent, cunning, and amazing? It was simply impossible. And unfortunately for Artemis, that was what they were best at. They could even be called experts at doing the impossible. But even they knew that they couldn’t do it alone. No, they could use all of the help they could get to pull this off. And so that’s why they had also needed Collin, Ella, and Emma’s help. But even if they didn’t Alex knew they would want to help. Collin was a 12 year old boy, and had light brown curly hair. He was Alex’s best friend, although ‘tortured punching bag’ seemed a little more appropriate. Ella and Emma were only nine years old. They were twin witches, well, witches in training was more like it. They had been expelled from The Magic Academy and sent to a reinforcement camp for magical beings. They found out that an evil witch named Juliet, who had also been expelled from The Magic Academy many years before; was trying to destroy it; to get revenge. In an amazing adventure (which I really don’t feel like explaining) Ella and Emma escaped from the camp and saved the Magic Academy. So there was a short summary of their story. They had split up into two groups. Collin, Ella, and Emma were searching the books in the Artemis Fowl series, to get an idea on the security they faced. Of course Butler was their main problem. But before we go into their ingenious plan, I feel that it is important to explain precisely why they were trying to kidnap Artemis Fowl. They didn’t want money, or any sort of ransom fee. They didn’t want to date him. They didn’t even want to force him to tell them where Haven and the L.E.P. were, although they already knew. They wanted him for one reason and one reason alone. They were going to force Artemis Fowl to spend their Holiday Break with them. They basically thought that it would be fun. And you have to admit it; it would be a great Christmas present for yourself. Alex had been working very hard, putting her deviously mischievous mind to good use. She definitely didn’t underestimate what Butler would do to protect Arty, so the key was to make sure that Butler didn’t know that he was missing. And the solution to that was magic. Ella and Emma could create an exact clone of Artemis that would act, think, and look just like Arty himself. But before I continue Alex’s musings, some one else has something to say. At that moment Collin, Ella, and Emma were running through the snow towards them. “I think I know how we’re going to kidnap Artemis Fowl!” Collin exclaimed once he had reached them. ![]()
