Short Vacation

Loading ... Holly Short was on her way to Cerrapolis, one of the most popular tourist destinations under the earth. She wasn’t going there for a mission or anything… It was her vacation! She had somehow managed to get the commander to let her off work for an entire week! She was going to Cerrapolis because of the following reasons:
1. Her relatives lived there.
2. Artemis said that he would meet her there.
3. It wasn’t very crowded this particular week.
4. It was widely famous for having some of the best food on and under earth.
5. She got to go there for free because she won a drawing for a week-long vacation at the Little Imp Hotel, a five-star hotel in the middle of town. They also payed for all her food.
6. They had some of the best entertainment complexes ever.
7. And much, much more.
She arrived at the hotel at 2 o’clock that afternoon. It was Sunday. Artemis wouldn’t be there until 6 o’clock that evening. She went into her room and unpacked. Then, she went online to look at all the things that she could do in Cerrapolis. She hadn’t eaten lunch yet. So she went to The Pixie Palace, a restaurant just a five minute walk from the hotel.
When she had finished eating, she went to the Lucky 7 Theater. There, she saw a horror movie about two elves, a pixie, and a troll. She came out of the movie shivering. Then, she went back to the hotel and took a short rest. On the way out, she spotted Artemis. “Artemis!” she called. Artemis looked around. He spotted Holly, and walked over to her. “Hello, Holly!” said Artemis, smiling. “What have you been doing today?” “Nothing much,” replied Holly. “I got here around 2-ish, unpacked, went to a restaurant, watched a movie and came back here for a short rest. What have you been doing?” “I started the day out with a refreshing breakfast of bacon, fried eggs, baked beans and fried onions. Then mother made me babysit Myles and Beckett while she and father went on a date. Now, I’m here.” “They’re having fireworks tonight in the town square.” said Holly. “Want to go?” “Only if you do.” said Artemis.
That night Artemis and Holly went to see the fireworks. Holly had never seen such fireworks before. Artemis wasn’t as impressed as Holly was. He had seen at least 30 fireworks better than this. That night they went to sleep early.

i would name this : The perfect vacation… well that actually on how your story continues i would like to see the full story unless u r keeping it is way!

Nope. I’m definitely going to update. Each chapter is going to be a different day. 7 days in all. Keep suggesting names. I will choose the name when I’m done with the story.

I think “Vacation Trip” would be a good one.

Yea I was just thinking about “Vacation” or “A Paired Vacation” because Holly and Artemis are paired up.

I think that neither would be impressed by the fireworks because Holly lives in an advanced society and Artemis thinks everything is childish!!!

Okay… there really isn’t much to comment on this story. It is WAY too bland. So Holly just got up, ate, went to see Artemis, and watched fireworks? Where’s the action? Where’s the angst? C’mon even a bit of romace would do! Maybe Holly and Artemis eventually kiss! Make em’ be attacked by a bunch of rampaging goblins! ANYTHING!
