Loading ...Prologue: A few years after TOD
“What? Opal’s escaped?”
“Yes,” Foaly nodded miserably, “And I can’t trace her at all.”
Holly turned as purple as the late Commander Root, and turned to look at Foaly. “Do we know how?” She said dangerously. Foaly shook his head, and Holly’s eyelid twitched. “You want me to tell Artemis and then look for her, right?”
Foaly swallowed and nodded, privately thinking that Holly was even more scary than Root when she wanted to be.
“Your stealth shuttle is gonna go now, so you’d better hurry,” he whispered to Holly, fearing that she would bite his head off for not being serious. He pointed at the screen and continued, Don’t worry about Sool, he’s so stupid he wouldn’t know even if I pressed his nose against the shuttle casing.”
Holly turned to go, and then turned back.
“And what am I supposed to do about Mulch?”
“Errr, leave him with… someone else?”
Holly grimaced and strode off.

Chapter 5 is REALLY short. If I was Artemis, when that Opal clone was following me home, I would have just killed it. Violent? Yes. Sensible? At the time…Are you going to update this? I’m still a bit confused on what the original Opal is after.
