“Shut up what ever your name is!” Charlotte snapped. “It’s 4am.”

Histroy as a subject was dull, but the teacher himself was OK.
“Right girls, be quiet.” he began but they all continued “Girls? Girls be quiet! Miss Robyn what lip gloss you’re getting is not important. Miss Short neither is the tactics at last night’s crunchball game. But if he’d made a half decent pass then…”
He remembered he wasn’t there to teach them what errors crunchball teams made at last night’s game and started to hand back their the homework.”
“Sir!” Charlotte said sharply then she started repeating it and clicking her fingers. She tried to straighten her back to make herself look taller but ended up falling out of her chair.
Tiff and Holly laughed everyone else rushed to her aid including the teacher.
“What’ve you hurt?” he asked her.
“My arm! It’s sore!” she moaned grabbing it.
He couldn’t be bothered with her dramatics so pulled her to her feet.
“What was so crucial you needed to now there and then?”
“I only got a B how is that even possible? I ALWAYS get A’s!” Charlotte snapped.
He ignored her and continued with the lesson. When Holly got out Charlotte tried to trip her up.
“What was that for?” Holly asked desperate to bring her down to size.
“Don’t play the victim! You join the school, I fall out of my chair, get a B and Victoria’s hairstyle is better than mine…”
“HOW CAN IT BE BETTER?” Holly asked desperate to burst out laughing “You all look the same! You all have similar names-who’s Victoria? And to be honest they all follow you like a well trained..”
She didn’t get finishing before Charlotte’s face went red with anger.
“You want what I have- I’m almost flawless! You’re not getting it! You are not replacing me.”
“I wouldn’t want to be like you if you were the last living thing on Earth, not if my life depended on it.”
Charlotte stormed off and Holly stood cursing her mother for leaving her.
