All eyes were on Vinyaya as she walked towards the back row where Verbil sat. She held her head up high, even as a boy gave a little lover’s whistle. She plunked her books down on the desk and sat down hard. The teacher looked up from his work. He hadn’t heard Vinyaya come in.
“Good,” he whispered, and got up from his chair.
“Today we are going to all go out to the practice courts and have a little go at the shutlecrafts.The I shall take you all out for some treats in the hall.”
The class jumped up, yapping excitedly. What had possesed the teacher to start acting so nice? Imagine, sweets in the hall!A free shuttle ride!
“Except Vinyaya.”
Simultaneously, all heads turned in her direction. Vinyaya froze.
“Pardon, sir?” She said, her voice strangled as she tried to keep it level.
“You aren’t going,” He said happily.”You disrespected the higher ranking officers. You must be punished.”
“I am being punished by being made to sit by that !” she cried, pointing a trembling finger at Verbil.
She couldn’t believe it. She had waited all year to try her hand at flying, and now she couldn’t, because he had insulted her! She couldn’t see that if she had ignored him and not lost it, life would go on normally. She wanted anybody to blame other than herself.
“Vinyaya! Sit down!” The teacher said shrilly. His face was purpling and his breath was coming in short gasps.

i am very disturbed that someone rated my story 1/5. may i remind that person that the first part of the story is firetop,plain, old, firetop. I know that my story is not worth a 1 and i know this may sound conceited, but i am really offended.
other than that, sorry about chptr 2, i know it doesn’t have anything, but i will update as soon as i can. Thank you.Constructive critiscism will be appreciated.

I’m still enjoying it a lot- you’ve really given Vinyaya much more character than she has in the books.
What happened to the beginning of the story, though?

Oh this is sooooo good! This is a way better story than *insert story worse than this on here* ( I can’t say it would hurt the person’s feelings) I can’t wait for more!
