Fight Between Holly and Minerva (Over Artemis) DUH!!!!!!

Artemis was just sitting in his study when he heard a knock on the door. He rose from his soft armchair where he was reading the Illiad, in the original Greek. When he opened the door he came face to face with Minerva. He had a surprised look on his face. He had been expecting Holly. She was supposed to be coming up for a renewal of the Ritual and was going to swing be Fowl Manor on her way to Tara. After regaining composition of his face, he lead Minerva to an armchair where they sat down to talk.

“Artemis I’m sorry to burst in on you like this, but I need to know if you love me. I mean just me. Not that Holly elf girl thing. We’ve been going out for 2 years and I have noticed that you haven’t been putting your whole heart into the relationship. If you’re in love with Holly and not me, please just tell me. That way you don’t have to hurt me by not loving me fully.”
Artemis was completely speechless. Even with precise planning never even anticipated Minerva doing this. The problem was that he loved her, but he also loved Holly. Especially now that she is a part of him(Holl’s hazel eye). He was starting to panic. He couldn’t have her here when Holly arrived. If she saw Holly she would not give Artemis time to think and decide who he loved more.
To bad for him that at this exact moment Holly chose to come to the study window to see Artemis. She opened the large windows and floated in like an angel, though everyone knows that she is wearing almost invisible wings. She pulled her helmet off and let her now shoulder lenght auburn hair shimmer in the setting sun.
” Hey, Artemis. How’s it going? Hope I didn’t scare you…..” At that moment she saw Minerva in the study. “What is she doing here? You said it was just going to be you and me tonight. She isn’t supposed to be here!” screamed Holly
Before Artemis could answer Minerva started yelling at Holly.
” Who says that you were supposed to be here. I’m the girl Artemis has been going out with, not you, you short little cretin. I’m allowed to come see him whenever I want. You’re the one that shouldn’t be here.”
Just then there was another knock on the window. All three look at the window. There was a hovering form outside. Artemis then went over to the window and started to yell
“This is a private conversation. Get out of..”
He didn’t get to finish the sentence because Trouble Kelp zoomed straight in and would have hit Artemis if he hadn’t duck down.
“Trouble what are you doing here?” said Holly with a dreamy voice.
“Holly, I came to ask you a question?” said Trouble.
“What is it Trouble?” said Holly.
“Ah, well, this is kind of hard to say. Um,” Kelp says while getting on his knee, “Holly Short will you…marry me.”
Everyone in the room gasped.
“I might, if you answer one question. Why are you doing it here?” said Holly.
“Well, um. I heard you were coming to Fowl Manor and I needed to ask you before you fell in love with him,” said Kelp.
“Well Holly, since you have a fiance now, I can have Artemis so, leave us in peace and go get married,” cut in Minerva before Holly could get out her answer to Kelp.
“Fine, Minnie. You can have Artemis. And Kelp, yes I will marry you. Let’s go and get everything started for the wedding.” With that, Holly and Trouble grab hands jump out the window, and fly away kissing.
“Since that over you only have me Artemis. Let’s go,” said Minerva. But before she and Artemis could leave, Butler came in.
“Artemis, I’m sorry to interupt but I told you my nephew was comming over and he came early. So I would like you to meet Kyle. He will be staying with us for about a week.”
With that, a super hot boy walked into the room. He had strikin blonde hair and gray steely eyes. Minerva and Kyle saw each other and instantly fell in love.
“Kyle this is my master, Artemis and this is Minerva,” said Butler.
“Hi,” said Minvera nervously.
“Hi,” said Kyle, “um would you like to go out with me.”
“Sure,” said Minerva, “Oh, and Artemis we are over.:”
With that Minerva and Kyle walked out of the room. Leaving Artemis in his study with a dumfounded look on his face.
“Butler, what just happened?” said Artemis.
“Well Artemis, I think you just had your first breakup,” said Butler. And with that he left leaving Artemis to think about what happened.

Artemis ends the fight by saying that he likes Holly and Minerva was just a distraction. She was too predictable and not exciting enough.

But also, if he said that, Minerva might attack him.

Um…ok. Holly pulls out her neutrino and shoots minerva. Then, in a last attempt to get revenge, minerva picks up the letter opener on Artemis’ desk and hurls it at Holly, striking her in the heart. Artemis realizes that they both were prigs anyway and goes for juliet..;)
I don’t really think Holly should die, but I ship A/J. So…

Eew, Mulch and Juliet… but I think that Artemis should freak out and go running for Butler. Or say “Screw you both, I’m with Angelina Jolie!”
JK. I think… your story already sounds like an A/H story. Keep going with that, because Minerva’s a brat. She should get a taste of not getting what she wants. But I’m pretty sure Holly ends up with Trouble in the sixth book.

I dont like Minerva - BUT LETS BE HONEST. Artemis cant go out with Holly - shes already eighty, and she’s going to live MUCH, MUCH, MUCH, MUCH longer than him. And Minerva and Artemis were pretty obviously set up in the books to like eachother. So - I dont like Minerva, but I do think they should be together.

I don’t have a problem with Holly and Artemis, except that Holly is like 80 and Artemis is 15. And Minerva is a brat sometimes.
