AN: OK it worked out to be a tie- which means… they’re both going to have to look after her.

“But sir.. I don’t want to be stuck with a baby!” Chix said.

“I don’t care- you and Grub are going to look after her until I say so- got it.”

  The baby without a name stuck her tounge out  at Chix.

“Hey! Don’t do that!” Chix said.

“She’d just a baby. She’s only..” Root replied.

“Not HER, Grub’s holding her upside down and she’s kicking his chin.” he replied.

“Oh Boy!” Root thought “I don’t know which one’s worse!”

Chix’s appartment was stylish, expenisve and every parents worse nightmare. There was a million ways the baby could get hurt… and she could hurt them.

“Ahh.” she said pressing the buttons on the remote and watching each channel for two seconds before switching- this was one of Grub’s pet hates. He snatched it off of her and she bit his finger with her two teeth.

“OW!” he squeeled grabbing hold of his finger as the baby decided to play with anything made of glass. She knocked down several glass vases.

  Chix screamed

“They’re expensive! Stop it!” he yelled as she crawled into the bathroom he picked up the bits of glass.

“Stupid brat! My fingers are all cut now!” he yelled.

“Mine are all bitten!” Grub moaned.

  They heard a tiny sneeze followed by another and another. Grub went to see what she was doing.

“Please don’t hurt me.” he said calmly as he walked into the bathroom he found the little girl- covered in shampoo and frond knows what else spinning around giggling at the bubbles she formed from her mouth.

“You’re disgusting!” Grub said to her but she didn’t take offence and continued to spin round.

Chix came in and sheirked while the baby continued to babble complete nonsense and Grub screamed “Mummy!”

 Chix held her at arm’s length.

“I hate you. You’re a little monster OK?” he said to her sternly.

 She pulled her tounge out at him and clapped her hands.

  They’d just finished cleaning the baby and the bathroom. Grub was shocked at how much Chix spent on shampoo!

 ”Well why don’t we put bubbles to bed?” Grub asked.

“Put who?” Chix replied raising an eyebrow.

“It’s what I’ve called her.” he replied.

“Are you sure you don’t want to call her- pain, mistake, brat, evil or Villian? OK bedtime Bubbles.”

  She struggled against his grip, put a tiny hand to her eyes to wipe away the tears and started to scream and panic clinging to Chix.

“Chix doesn’t mean it Bubbbles . You’re not a villian your just violent for your age.” Grub said sweetly.

“You idiot! She’s scarred of something, I don’t know, I don’t care. Grub the guest room’s down the hall. She going on the couch, she can cry all she wants! We need to be tough on her!”

2 hours later….

“I’m begging you! Just go to sleep and I’ll take back the villain comment …please… PLEASE!” Chix said bursting into tears.

HOW COULD GRUB SLEEP THROUGH THIS? The constant noise was unbearable he didn’t sound proof his home for nothing. He couldn’t sleep with ANY noise.

“Do you ever sleep?” he asked her.

She shook her head before yawning.

“No? Why?” he asked her but he never got her reply- he feel asleep.

  He woke up and someone was pulling his hair. It wasn’t Grub he was in his kitchen eating. He looked up and saw Bubbles smiling at him.

“Hiya.” he said.

“Hello- by the way we’ve a problem.” Grub replied.

“I was talking to her. Yeah, how’s my hair mean to look amazing for Holly if I’ve not got…” Chix replied.

“Not that. Do we go into Police Plazza - she’ll cause chaos!”

“Yeah, but people can help us and we can ask why she’ s so scared of bedtime.” he replied and the baby screamed at the mention of it.

AN: SO - do they take “Bubbles” into Police Plazza- and have her cause more trouble? OR- let Grub and Chix struggle on their own?
