Root shuffled through the pictures of the criminals. Most of them were goblins.

“Nope.” Root said. “Can’t be the old gobies.”

 Holly agreed.  “I don’t suppose that they’d be smart enough to plan all this and cause destruction to Haven in one day.”

“Uh-uh, not little Opal.” Root said. “She hasn’t dared to try anything yet. Plus, she’s been locked up for over a year now.”

Foaly just couldn’t imagine a little girl behind drugs. Even if she is an evil geni child, infesting Haven with intoxicants wouldn’t be on her list.

Roots fingers came across Briar Cudgeon’s picture. He shuttered thinking about his terrible end. “Can’t be Cudgeon. Last time I checked, he died by the lasers. A gruesome end for that fellow.”

Holly agreed once more. “I can’t say I don’t agree. That’s a sad ending in his book if I don’t say so myself.”

Foaly nodded in agreement.

After a long while of shuffling through pictures and trading off agreements and disagreements, Roots hand shuffled in Artemis Fowl’s picture. Roots eyes darted back and forth from Holly to Foaly, waiting for their statement.

The three shuttered from thinking on whether Artemis was behind it all or not. If he was, they knew that they were in grave danger. They’ve dealt with him in the past and learned that he was not someone you want as an enemy. The scheming and evil smile on the picture sent shivers down eachothers spine till Holly broke the silence.

“Absurd! Arty turned good and has been on our side and helped us out of alot of scary situations.”

Foaly nodded. “I’m going to have to say that I agree. The little irish boy did help us in times of peril.”

Root sighed, “Alright then, he was our last picture and no one seems to have a clue on who we’re dealing with. Looks like we’ve a new and unknown public menace.”
