KEVIN’S POV 

” Hey Kevin lets go!!” Shouted my bodyguard,Butler. I hurridy stuffed the restof the equment into a breifcase.” Come on your going to be late!” He called hurridly starting up the lexus. Is this everthing? Who care we need to go get her!! I took the stairs two at a time. I ran to the parking lot or grage as dad called it. ” It’s about time Kevin! I know your going to impress her but you need to hurry next time!” I smiled hole-heartdly .

“Oh liten up Butler think of it as … fashonablely late!” I said inventing and excuse of the top of my head. Bulter smiled and reminded me t put on  my glasses.I slid down the mirror look to see what color my eyes were today. Blue Gray. Good, that’s her favorite.I smiled my other self did the same.” Butler look 5 o’clock shadow at 1:03!” It was o.k. to day for this mission to look scruffy. When we finnaly arived I got out told Bulter to wait and with that I grabed the breif case and mached into the office looking for all the world like her father.

” Hello I need to sigh out my daughter for a doctors’ appointment” The scertary nodded tword a list saying sign out. name: Artemis Fowl the II . Child: Artemis Fowl III . Date: No thanks I’m marrired! The lady took the list and called up Artemis. She came an we left.

“Kevin you shouldn’t have done that!”She said dliping her hand into mine. Once we got into the car I hoped into the back with her.” So boys’ what’s the crissis?” She asked expectanly.I smiled wide.

” Well Artmeis there really is none, but privite schools get out to late for me so Bulter and I came and stole you away!” I said slipping my arm around her. ” Clearly pleasure!” She smiled and leand on my shoulder and my heart fluttered.

” You know something Kevin?” She asked sleepily.I smiled.

” I know a lot of things Arty! But what?” I asked her waning to kiss her so bad.

” Your really conforatable!” She wispered and drifted of to sleep on me. I lookd at her a realised I if didn’t have Artmis I would be alot less happy. I kissed her gentaly on the forhead.

” So are you baby.” I wispered in her ear.

Artemis’ pov

when I woke up I was on my SOFA in Fowl mannor. I looked around wiping sleep form my eyes.I tryed to rember what I was doing before I fell asleep . Kevin walked into the room.

” Morning sleeping beauty( i know I can’t spell) ” Kevin said smilng . That’s when i noteiced  Father standing in the cornner of my room. Kevin ssat down beside me sliding his arm around me.” Arty school must were you out you fell asleep on me faster than I would have thought possible. But then again that’s what Fowls do amaze me everyday!” He said I glanced at Father he was smiling.

” Kevin were Butler?” I asked him noting the bodygaurds apsince. Father nodded his approval and I leanded against Kevin his bodyconforatable as your favorite pair of blue jeans. He smiled but avoided anwsering my Question. Father would be testing to see what I would do next. ” So I’m going down to the kitcen for a milk shake if you wait hear I’ll bring you one up!” I sad standing knowing perfectly well Kevin wouldn’t let me leave the room.

” i’ll go insted! What kind would you like Artemis ? And would you like one Mr. Fowl ?” I told him but he already knew I wanted a choclate with red sprinkles. Father politely declinded and Kevin left.

“Father are you mad Kevin got me early from school?” I asked hoping he wasn’t . He shook his head and chuckled .

” No Arty iI’m not but I wish , when pretending to be me he would write a date not ‘no thanks I’m married,. i would never write and thing so loodicrus ! And your mother would laugh her head off.” He staired into the distance. I mosned him to sit down . He sat. I leand on him. In tht lean he knew the next question form my mouth so he started laking about her. He told me of How thet had saved the world togeather and started dateing .He told me about her alburn hair and her miss-matched eyes. The way she lost her last living famliy member ,  a fellow by Comander Root . He told about her job and her city. and as I was falling asleep on him he told me her name for the first tim in my life I knew my mother’s name Holly Short . My Father was just as confy as Kevin i told him so and he chuckled his deep warm voice a laugh that came from his toes and travaled through his body to my ears . I was out agian,

Is It just me or does Artemis sleep a lot! by the way the plot takes  hole new twist when she wakes up !!!!!!!

Kevin’s pov

When I came back upstairs Artemis was asleep on her Father’s sholder. I sat her drink down aon the coffe table trying to be quite so Butler could  make it upstairs with the cake before she woke up. Wow! She’s spent half of her Birthday asleep on 2 diffrent men’s sholders ! That’s got to be a record or something! I thought waiting for Butler. There was a long silence between Mr. Fowl and my self. Finally I spoke.

” So……. Are you upset that I pretedned to be you?” I asked ready to take full responcipilty for my atcions. Mr. Fowl chuckeled .

” you to think a like , she asked me the same thing when you left!” He staded I wasn’t suprized Artemis and I had loads in comman! Abut two seonds later Artemis woke up and butler walked in with the cake.

” Happy Birthcay Artemils !” I said smiling again . After cake  Artemis went up to her room. Bulter and I trained in the dojo for a while . After training I dressed quickly and ran up to get Artemis . I love road trips with Arty … Butler’s buzy watching the road there are no camras so !!!. When I entered the romm ahe was awake sketching comething. 

” hey Arty you want to go some were ?” i asked that tone of voice that told her I wasn’t in for a Sunday picnick. She rose form her desk and wraped her arms around me.

” I want to find my mother.” she staded . I was shocked .

” but you don’t even know her name !” I remisnded her thinking she was losing it.

” Father told me!” She wispered staring at my chest. ” beside it will involve a road trip anyway.” She said smiling.

” I was only in it for the trip but now I have a trip and a mission!” I said . and before she could speak again I kissed her full on the mouth. Her toung sliped ito my mouth and my sences tingled with delight.

We had called Butler to help us he was all for it. He called every one that might know Artemis’ mother.

” Minerva Peraderso?” Arty read of a list she had composed. This time I dailed. Some one awnsered on the third ring.

” Hello Peraderzo resadence how my I help you?” Said a voice in french

” I am looking for Mrs.Peraderzo!” I said waiting

” This is she” The voice of Mrs. Peraderzo said.

” Hi this is Kevin Thortan and I was wondering if you could tell me anything about Artemis Fowl’s mother?” I asked holding my breath.

” The III? yes but you wont belive me!” She warned.

” Try me!” I said excidly. So she told me about the People and lep and Haven and Holly and Foally and Mulch And an asortment of others at first I didnt'’ belive it but I decided that if ” Foally were anything like the U.S. Goverment then he was montering phone calls .” Thank you Mrs. you have know idea the help you just gave me!!!”

” your welcome”She said a teing of regrect in her voice.

” Well good bye” I said trying to sound respectful.

” bye” She hugh up. I hung up and  jumped backword onto the SOFA closing my eyes.I felt Artemsi’s black hair on my shoulder then her head. I moved arm around her.

” Guess what!” She wispered in my ear

” What ?” I asked obedently.

” I fed a to the camras in my room” She said a twig of smugness in her voice. My eyes flew openand I saw her smiling face inches from mine before she kissed me . A full scale kiss . She’s a comfertable fit in my arms.Suddenly I feel a preasure on my corar bone and Artemis and I pass out. but before the darkness clamed I saw butler ….no not my butler a realy old guy .

“Holly did you ever… sleep with Artemis ? Or while we’re on the subject did you give birth to that mud girl? but more importantly did you sleep with Artemis?” Foally asked skiping to the point.

” Yes . Yes and yes . I slept with Arty and that’s my daughter!” Holly said and as she did she ran out of the room.

” Holly wait we cant’t have you in that room hugging a mud fairy that doesn’t even know you, Its’ just to weird1″ Foaly siad after her but was to late to do anything about it now.

I woke up with Kevin under neath me snoring like a drunken salior . Then I heard a string of curse words being shouted and listened hard.

” Foally what the Hell are thoose to mud welps doing here? And What the Hell are you going to do when they wake up  ponyboy? A voice , Female Shraked and then the yelling stoped and I waited . The door flung open and a short point eared little girl marched in.

” What do you know about the people?” She asked cooly. I raked my Brains What People ? WHo was she?

” Look at I want to do is find my Mom not be aressted by so old guy then yelled at by a little girl!” I said Hottly as my temper broke blood boilinbg I Glared my Father’s vamipe glare. But to my suprize the girl didn’t flench at my glare but smiled and hugged me.” What the ……/” I started but the Question died in my mouth as the girl began to cry. I was totally unprepared for this an d was slightly shocked .

” Holly ?” A New Voice asked. THe girl looked around to see that old guy again.” Who is…..? Oh My God you look Just like Artemis Folw!” He siad duking into the room to get a better look . This movement only mag nified his size he was a good 7 fot and looked like the hulk only he wasn’t Green or angry. Actully he was totaly shocked looking .

” Well I look like Artemis Fowl Because I am Artemis  Fowl !” I anounced straitening to my full hieght and hitting my head. I moved off of the floor onto a small sofa and closed my eyes thinking.

” O.K. I want a few things awnsered. 1 who are you all?” I Paused waiting  for an intro duction bt insted of for the people in front of me it came from the door .

” The Big on this Butler, the girl is Holly Short and ‘m Foally!” And even more to my suprize a half man half horse figure steped……..er….. galloped into the room.Holly Short that is my mom!i thought excidly.
