Loading ...A/N- (If you’ve ever watched this old Sci-Fi short episode series, Afterworld, then this will probably be something alot like it. The storyline will be somewhat the same, but, after watching quite a bit of the show, it inspired me to write this.)
Technology… comes in many different forms… and we depend on almost each one created. Bidding my father and mother farewell… I realize that it’s the most tragic memory I’ll never come to forget. My tale begins in New York…
-New York, In some five star hotel-
Artemis’s POV:
I awoke to a dark, rainy night riddled with thunder and flashes of lightning. My intellect quickly informed me that there was something terribly wrong. I knew I was hearing a normal silence, all but the storm, but there was something about the stillness in the air. All was not right. I quickly changed into my suit and slipped into expensive, black leather shoes and crept into the hallway. I made way to the elevators, pushed the button, but after a long, disturbing while of waiting, it did not come. I could hear my heart pounding. Usually, I would not be alarmed by such things, and I would know straight away that the employers were handling technical difficulties down below, but, tonight was entirely crude, and different. I could feel it.

I like! But please put more chapters in, I’m getting a headache. Still, it was great, but not very informative. Why was Artemis there? And… all the rest.
