For the next few days, Artemis had to endure Vera not speaking to him. Occasionaly, she threw him a glare which had so much malice in it he actually staggered backward. During rehearsal, when Artemis and Vera had lines together, she acted it out very well. But when rehearsal was over, they were back to their old silence.
But Vera not talking the Artemis was good in some ways. He didn’t have to keep chatting with her. He could think without listening to her talking in the background. He could hatch plans without her being his conscience.
And he was absolutely miserable.
That was a stupid argument, he thought, and I should have thought before saying anything.
But the damage was done. Now, Vera hated him. A brave person would go and apologize to her, but Artemis Fowl the second was anything but brave. And strong. (But that’s irrelavent.)
“I think I need to have a talk with Nick Styles.”
After school, Nick got ready to go back home. He packed his things into his bag and went out of class. At the school gate, he was greeted by Artemis.
“Hi, Troy. Ready for the basketball game? Don’t forget to getcha head in the game!” Nick laughed.
Artemis smirked. A pretty good pun, he thought, but it’s time to get down to business.
“It’s about Vera.” he said.
Nick blushed. “She’s been avoiding you for a while, hasn’t she? What did you do? I saw the glares. Ouch.”
“We had a small quarrel. Anyway, how do you feel about her?”
By this time, Nick’s cheeks were as red as a tomato. “I think she’s a really great friend.”
Artemis sighed. Judging by his blushing reaction, he definitely liked Vera. “Listen, Nick. I know how you feel. And she feels the same way.”
Nick looked up in surprise. “Really?”
“That’s was one of the main reasons we quarreled. Look. She likes you a lot. During the Fall dance, she didn’t have a partner. Why don’t you be hers?” Artemis said.
“There’s no dance coming up.” Nick pointed out.
“So? Use your imagination.” Artemis said, then walked away.

DUDE YOU HAVENT SEEN HSM3!!! IT WAS TAWESOME!! getting back on topic, I think the play will be a disaster. Artemis sing? Its more likly he will scream PIE then sing. Kool story, I am going to enjoy this.

I don’t know, the whole idea seems kinda cheesy. I can’t exactly describe what it is, but cheesy comes close. Arty is a scientist, I’m sure he’ll figure out how to sing, even if it involves a lot of equations. Also, I don’t understand why SO many people are SO jazzed about HSM. It’s okay, I guess, but I can name at least a dozen better actors.(and songs, for that matter) But it’s well written, so I applaud you for that.

I loved HSM3! My mom didn’t though…when I went to see it again she took my siblings out of the room….This looks like it’s gonna be really funny! One mistake: you said the biology teacher was a man, and then said the name was Ms. Ong. Other than that, great job! Update!

Okay. Fine. I’m so annoyed because everything you guys are saying is completely wrong. Okay.
1.Yes, Nick will play a love interest for Vera.
2.Artemis will NOT sing. You will find out how we get through this after I finish it.
3.Not only do you need to learn how to sing, you also need to have talent, so Tinyathlete, Artemis cannot simply learn how to sing if he has no talent.
4.I am NOT Vera Venus(in the story). I simply like the name.

Vera, did you know you have been added to ‘Opal Koboi and the truffles of doom’ thought I’d let you know. Ok, your story is sweet, but really you could make the chapters longer for your fans, although that would mean it would take longer to update, hmm… whatever. CAFFINE!

Well, I don’t celebrate thanksgiving ’cause my parents don’t have the time of day. Besides, I live in Canada, so our thanksgiving is in October.

I’m chinese American. Our thanksgiving was in October. Actually, we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving either. BUT, my sisters birthday is over thanksgiving weekend, so we celebrate that.

Your Message I’m sorry for the length of this comment, but please try to get through it. First- uh oh, artymon likes me. Second-this one’s for Vera Venus-my voice teacher has been known to take the least talented people and turn them into really good singers. Third, thanksgiving is commemorative to the Pilgrims and Indians pitching in for a meal at Plymouth (Massachusetts). Fourth, it’s not unusual to not have turkey on Christmas. Some people have ham, some have roast, and some (like me), have both! Finally, fifth, hitsuguyatoushiro-whew, that’s a long name-I don’t exactly wretch at the sight of HSM, but I definitely prefer HP. Actually, I LOVE HP!!!!!
