A/N Here it is ladies and Gents the next installment of the color stories! whoohoo! Alright after this I will take a break from color stories but please i still would love to here from you guys!

Deep breath. Calm down. The academy loomed before Holly Short. She felt like backing away, then sprinting back and diving under her covers. No. Thought Holly. I will graduate and I will become a LEPrecon captain. I won’t give up. With a determined look Holly marched up the steps and through the giant doors. She walked to the office and up to the main desk. “Um excuse me?” Holly said with a quiet voice. The secretary looked up briefly and back down at whatever she had been doing. This was an ugly sprite, this one. “Yes?” her voice was like nails on a chalk board. (The drunken pixie thing in book one;)) Holly flinched. “I-uh….I’m new and I need-” Holly began. “Your schedule? Of course. Of course.” Said the sprite. Holly nodded. The sprite nodded. “Mr. Kelp?” her voice was sharp and harsh. An elf with brown hair that met his eyes poked his head around the corner. “Yeah?” he said. The sprite’s face twisted in a malicious smile. “I have a new student here. After you’re done with her I’d like you to clean the staff bathroom.” she said smugly. The boy grimaced. Holly stifled a laugh. “Yes ma’am.” he muttered. He walked over to Holly and glumly crossed his arms. His gaze traveled to the floor. “Hi. I’m Holly, Holly Short.” Holly said offering her hand. The boy looked at it then gave her a charming smile. “Trouble, Trouble Kelp.” he said. Holly almost took a sharp breath. he’s so… “let me see that schedule.” He said brightening. Holly looked dazed “Huh?” she said crashing back to reality. Trouble gave her a knowing smirk. “Your schedule.” he said softly. Holly reddened. “Oh…yeah here.” She mumbled handing him her schedule. Trouble nodded. “Oh? it looks like we both have Vinyaya in about an hour.” He said. Holly almost cheered aloud but somehow managed to keep quiet. “Well.” Trouble said “I guess I’ll show you the ropes.” Another charming smile. Holly could have melted. She followed behind him, admiring every move he made. “Combat.” he said pointing at a room. Someone flew through a glass window. “D’arvit Frond! You have got to watch yourself!” howled a voice. “I’m sorry, sir.” came the apology of Lilly Frond. She noticed Trouble and smiled broadly. She waved and winked playfully. Trouble rolled his eyes. “Mental that one.” he whispered to Holly. Holly giggled. Lilly looked at Holly like she was ready to kill her on the spot. holly wiggled her fingers at her and walked off with Trouble. Lilly sent a punch through a three foot thick piece of wood shattering it in her jealousy. “Oh, Holly?” Trouble said stopping. Holly cocked her head to the side. “Yeah?” she asked. “Here is your locker. Isn’t that weird. It’s right next to mine.” he said showing her a locker. Holly checked her combination and opened her locker. She shoved her things into it. As she shoved her things in it, Trouble took a moment to appreciate her curves and long auburn hair. He smiled lightly. Holly turned around as his smile vanished behind her schedule. “Let’s head off then.” Trouble said. Holly gave him her most dazzling smile. He was impressed.

After he had shown her the whole school he turned to Holly and reluctantly said Good bye. He looked glumly at the office. Holly smiled. “Take my advice and don’t clean that bathroom.” Holly said. Trouble laughed. “I’ll try not to. Catch you after school?” he asked. “Maybe.” came her reply. She walked away towards her first period. Trouble’s smile broadened, he loved when they played hard to get. His gaze followed her around the corner and stayed there until thin arms snaked around him. He almost groaned. “Hello Lilly.” he said removing himself from her grasp. Lilly moved closer. “Who was that girl Trouble?” she asked innocently, but her eyes portrayed her jealousy. “A very beautiful new student.” Trouble said. He lost himself in his fantasies for a moment. Lilly’s lips on his own wrenched him from his dream and hurled him back at reality. He jerked back a hand already to his mouth. “What are you doing?!” He cried as he took an involuntary step backwards. (Or was it? Don’t know about you but I’d be running in the opposite direction right about now.) Lilly looked up at him with wide eyes of supposed innocence. “What are you being shy for? everyone knows we’re together.” she said. Trouble wrinkled his nose “Who in the world thinks that besides you?” he snapped. Lilly looked taken aback. Trouble crossed his arms angrily waiting for her reply. “You’re denying what we’ve been through?” she asked her voice trembling. Trouble was all to aware of the crowd hiding around the corner. Trouble snorted. “Been through what? Lilly, I’ve never liked you like that.” His voice never softened once. Lilly looked hurt. “if you want to throw all of that away then f-fine. Where th-through!” she cried and ran from him tear streaming down her cheeks. Trouble let out a helpless sigh. It was as if she never heard him. A group of cheerleaders crowded Trouble. All saying things such as, “That was nasty of you trouble!” “So since that’s over what are you doing tonight?” and “Do you wanna be my boyfriend Trouble?” Trouble felt a shudder run through his body. “Everyone please stop!” his voice risen above the others. Everyone fell silent and gazed up at him. “I don’t have an interest in either of you at the moment so if you will excuse me I don’t want to be tardy.” he said. And as if he’d said the magic word…”Will Mr. Kelp please report to the office!” boomed a voice. Trouble through up his hands in defeat. “Sorry ladies, duty calls.” he said. There was no mistaking the relief in his voice. He did as he was told ad headed to the office.

Holly made her way through all of her classes. She’d made it through the day. All through the day that boy, Trouble? He never left her thoughts (and she his) she wondered if she’d ever see him again. After this morning when he’d gone to the office he’d been recruited as a LEPrecon officer. A captain at that! How old was he then? Couldn’t have been much older then her right? Oh well.

Soon as students began to figure out Holly’s path she had to endure torments, pranks, and anything else they threw at her. She could barely stand it but determination and courage pushed her through it all. “Hey short! I bet you won’t last five minutes during that test.” Sneered a boy. Holly payed him no mind. “hey Holly! I bet all they’d have to do is take one look at your face. They’d die and you’d be charged for murder.” a cheerleader had taunted. Holly rolled her eyes. Even if it was the same taunts every day their knife’s blade was just as sharp as it had ever been. Trouble had left her thoughts as she spent more time wondering how she could possibly survive. She lost count of how many threats and teasing notes she’d received in her locker. How many people had pushed her over in the hallway, acting as if she didn’t exist. She was always shaking with anger. Sexist pigs! Holly had screamed over and over in her mind until she thought that she was getting sick of the phrase. One girl was merciless. That girl was Lilly Frond. Holly had never figured out what she’d done to deserve this. Heck. She didn’t know what she did to deserve any of this. Lilly made fun of every wrong mark on a test, every time she fell, and every time she mentioned Trouble Lilly would tell her Trouble never liked ugly girls like Holly. Holly angrily stomped away when Lilly did this. No matter how hard Holly tried she couldn’t just ignore them all. Everything they said had hurt her. She’d heard every taunt, seen every prank, and felt their words stabbing at her repeatedly. There were days where she felt like she just wanted to quit. But she wouldn’t not until she got what she’d been working her ass off for. Finally the day had come. She’d gotten Traffic duty. Oh joy. Thought Holly glumly. On that day she had cut her long hair and gotten rid of the many girly features she had. Every weakness, destroyed. Every grudge pushed to the back of her mind. Her courage and determination was deeper then the bluest ocean. For blue is the color of courage and Holly could be described with nothing less. She’d show them. She’d show them all.

  3. Vinyaya Says:

ohhhhhh 4 heavens sake since i wrote that story about holly and trouble in highschool everyone has done that. i still like it btw!:)

  4. Vinyaya Says:

oh and also i liked the way u explained the short hair. i thought it was very believable because holly never cares what anyone ever says about her. just shows that she did but is to strong for it to hurt her! loved it lots xx :)

  5. MMK Says:

You didn’t invent the setting, Vinyaya; the LEP academy has always been a favorite topic for H/T fanwriters.

I liked the story overall, but I don’t really like the part about how Holly destroyed the ‘weaknesses’ that made her look feminine. I think Holly’s too proud for that, she probably just has short hair because it’s practical. Oh, and Frond’s first name is spelled ‘Lili’. Anyway, I really like your color stories, I hope you continue them when you have the time. :)

  6. Jade Malice Says:

Lol. Oh i know I made each and every one of those mistakes. See I knew lili’s name was spelt that way but i also knew that I couldn’t remember to spell it that way all the time. So I invented my own. And it wasn’t so much her destroying her weakness it was her becoming a “new” person. Giving herself a fresh start if you catch my meaning. Anyways thank you so much for reviewing i really appreciate it.

  7. Holly Says:

It was a little longer than usual, but I hope you continue the series! :) I always thought of orange or red as courage or endurance perhaps??? Oh and no offenses, blue works too, but I always thought of it as…hmm…Justice. But that’s just me. That story rocked!

  8. lil.arty Says:
