Chapter 1: Narrow Escapes
Artemis Fowl’s Diary [Disk 3 encrypted]
I have found most recently that my parents have given birth to twins.(out of misery at my disappearing, I conquer.) At first I was excited at the concept. Foolish ideas about having them help me complete my various plots and schemes, until I realized they’re probably only three years old at the most and it is likley they still talk like the under educated children of illegal immigrants.Well it is a serious shame I must say.
In addition, I’m truly worried about the financial situation of the Fowls. Just how carried away did Father get? Even though I have been successfully pulled towards the path of redemption, I will not put sainthood above wealth. The Fowl empire shall continue its rise to power and no words or actions will stop it.
Haven city, underground
Holly Short stared at the ceiling until her vision blurred and all she could focus on were her thoughts. Most of them focused on, well, time; and how she actually could just sit here and stare at the ceiling doing nothing with out consequence for how ever long she wished. Nothing in her apartment had changed. But that was about it. That’s what Holly figured anyway. Once she came to Haven she just broke down with emotion and tried not to look or experience anything. Like if she tried to ignore the changes they wouldn’t be there. One in particular. Foaly’s new LEP suits.There had only been prototypes when Holly was still around . Two in particular. The one her father figure, Julius Root died in, and the one she wore when she was thrown into the metaphorical hell Opal Koboi created for her. She bit the insides of her cheeks and tried not to cry. They had had too many narrow escapes:Fowl Manor, the arctic, Jon Spiro, Opal Koboi, Demons. God, she thought, me and Artemis, we’re gonna die someday together.

i love how you included details like the LEP suits into the story. keep writing and make sure to post an announcement when you write more so I know to read it.
