Loading ...It’s black history month here and I just got the idea. It’s a bit of drabble but I will extend it if y’all like it.
Holly Short was glancing at her reflection in the bathroom mirror. She was a girl. No one would accept a girl in the hardcore LEPrecon. No one. When she wanted to pursue the dream of being a LEP officer, she vowed that she would never be like Lili Frond. Sexism was still very common and she surely would face discrimination.
But still, with her parents gone, she had a hard time making her own decisions. Should there be a female Recon officer?
Yes. Thought a voice in her head. I would give up anything for this job. And she was.
Holly dug into her desk drawer and found what she was looking for: a pair of scissors.
She hesitated. Would Mom and Dad approve of what she was preparing to do, or will they be ashamed of their daughter?
I am only following my own dream and path…they probably wouldn’t mind.
With a fierce determinaton she must have picked up from her father, she ran her scissors across.
Swish.
Half of her silky, auburn hair fell to the ground. Holly stuffed much sheets in her clothes. If she couldn’t enter Recon as a girl, she would become a officer as a boy…

FCD It is definitly not peverted! I love it! Holly pretending to be a boy to be accepted, I can totally imagine her doing that as a younger fairie! You should totally continue!

Aaw. Poor Holly. I know what that feels like, so I can make a connection. That’s a good thing. Also, in the end, the last word should be Root telling Holly “Accepted.” I think that would be awsome.
