Prologue

Elements are the things that govern our lives. They are necessities. They are the very essences of this planet. Our planet. As Mudmen, we abuse them to the extent that we have either inflicted ever-lasting damage upon them or they turn against us and we are the ones that must flee their wrath. There are those who simply do not care for them and left neglected, they become destructive.

They are constantly in our lives, in our very beings and they can just as easily wipe us out. But to go without any one of the elements, we find ourselves in mortal peril.

They are a means of life. A means of death. But it is such a fine and fragile line that it is easy to break, step over and forget it ever existed. Because Mudmen are selfish.

  1. This is very interesting story and I didn’t see any spelling errors but I’m not good at catching that. But anyway it is very good.

  2. Interesting!! I would like to see an update and find out what it was in the boy’s hands…

  3. Woah. Wow. Update soon please. This is very interesting. When I read your story, especially the end, it sent shivers down my spin. Talent. Use it and update!

  4. oh…I should mention each element is a one-shot and in no way linked to each other. If you want, after the winner of the challenge has been decided, I can create a prequel/sequel to the water one.

Happy marshmellow hunting…actually don’t hurt them

  5. Okay sorry, I am not able to put each in a list of favorite because I am too lazy, but I did read chapter 5 and it was hilarious! Of the few that I did read I think that that was my favorite. Adorable little Artemis! So cute 🙂

  6. Here here Ann! Five was the cutest, 1 was the angsty one and 4 was the sweetest one. 😀

  7. I rated it four. The one-shots were great, but apart from the first one, the others were missing something. Great job, though 😀

  8. @helen raspberrih: I agree, except I just couldn’t figure out what was missing, perhaps if I had given it more attention, then I could’ve improved the stories.
