I know I am not just assuming that you have read or seen the movie Peter Pan. So I would suggest you go and read the book Peter and the Starcatchers or Peter and the Shadow thieves. You won’t be disappointed and will be oh so relieved to understand this. (DON”T READ PETER PAN IN SCARLET!!!!)

Myles had invited Beckett to sleep over in his room the night that it happened. Of course one could only guess it would happen. Peter WAS attracted to England of where they were vacationing and The lost boys WERE growing up.

Peter was hopelessly bored, so he set off to England to see Molly Aster and perhaps figure out when the next bit of starstuff was to land. So against Tink’s better judgment they flew from “Neverland” island to the richer district of England. Suddenly he felt a pull on his locket that held the little starstuff he had left. Peter figured it was Molly’s necklace so he dipped down to where it was coming from.

Myles and Beckett had just finished reading the story of Peter Pan and wanted to meet him. They had found the book in the nonfiction section so hey figured every word of it was truth. They began telling stories about Peter’s great adventures and even left Artemis’s little gold Necklace as buried treasure on the window sill to lure him in. Suddenly something was behind their curtain. calling out a name. “Molly? where did you get this locket?” The boy picked up Artemis’s necklace and and eyed it closely. Beckett creeped up to the curtain and grabbed the person behind it. Peter kicked Beckett, Myles came to help him up but Peter came around the curtain. “Where did you get this?” he said.

Artemis, awoken from all the racket coming from Myles room stormed over and flung open the door. He was surprised to see Beckett on the floor holding his head and Beckett sitting on the floor leeched onto another boy’s leg. “Who are you?” he cried. Then he noticed something gleaming in the moonlight. “Give me back that necklace!” he hissed.

“Only if you tell me where you got it!”

“FAT CHANCE!” Artemis screamed and for once in his life being physical and tackling Peter. he ripped the coin out of Peter’s hand while enduring the grueling pain of Peter gnawing on his hand. Butler burst through the door. “ALRIGHT! NOBODY MOVE!” he aimed his gun at Peter’s head. “Especially you.”

    I like it! I haven’t read “Peter in Scarlet” yet… Only “Peter and the Starcatchers” and “Peter and the Shadow Theives”.

    I just read this. I haven’t read Peter and the starcatchers or what’s it called, but one of these days i will, its on my to do list. Your story is really really interesting!

    Peter and the Starcatchers bugs me, because the original book was SO good and childish, and then those new books go and mess EVERYTHING up. i didn’t like Peter in Scarlet much, either, but at least it was by the book.
