Ten years ago, on a cold and rainy night, a strange baby girl arrives on the border of Camp Half Blood. A note left with her states her surname, the fact that she is a half blood, and wishes that she is raised with care. Chiron takes her in, names her, and does as instructed in the note. Lia Rolland has remained in the Hermes cabin ever since, unclaimed and clueless to her past.
Meanwhile, a lost child alert has been put out in Haven and Atlantis in turn. The girl in question disappeared the night she was born, and her mother, hysterical with the grief of losing her only child, claims that the girl’s father took her. While the grief-stricken woman is placed in a facility, the LEP begins to search for her daughter, although in vain. It becomes the only Missing Child case in LEP history that was left unsolved.
But now, almost eleven years later, Major Holly Short believes that she has found the clue that they need to find the girl. She teams up with a few old allies to search, but what they find is more than they ever expected.
