About:
Hi, well, I like fanfiction (obviously) and I like www.fangathering.com. So now I'm here. Which is good I suppose, though it is rather addicting and my school work has taken some serious blows of neglect since I joined Fangathering, I can't see this making it any better. I like, uhm... stuff? Well, I like Martial Arts, the drums, guitar, Tamora Pierce books, Artemis Fowl (also obvious), Susan Cooper, Libba Bray, Stephanie Meyer, Veggie burgers and weird hats. XD

Regarding Spoilers

Written on July 20th, 2008

As you know, the Time Paradox is out in many places, but not in all.
So please refrain from commenting on stories with comments that reveal spoilers.
Also, all stories with spoilers in them should have a warning in the title and a disclaimer at the beginning.
We don’t want to ruin the books for anyone.
Thanks,
BlackOpal

Spectator Sport (Warning: TTP Spoilers!)

Written on July 20th, 2008

Warning: This story has spoilers for the Time Paradox. Do not read it if you haven’t read TTP!
“Welcome back,” I say, and even to myself I sound bitter. Artemis is ever observant, and he raises an eyebrow archly.
“I am sorry that I didn’t contact you earlier, but I had three years to catch up on.” […]

Passing Afternoon

Written on May 23rd, 2008

AN: This is just a short sonfic that I wrote randomly. The song is Passing Afternoon by Iron and Wine. I don’t own it, nor do I own Artemis Fowl.

The 14 Drabbles

Written on March 19th, 2008

:D I completely got inspired to do this by At.Your.Service.Not. and his story Sins and Virtues
And Sofie (Sophizzle on DeviantArt) with her fanart.
The Sins and Virtues kept coming up, I thought it was a sign.
These are practice drabbles, so harsh crit is extremely encouraged. That’s what they’re meant for.
Guess the characters. It isn’t […]

Storms

Written on March 1st, 2008

This is a drabble from Holly’s point of view. It’s semi-AH. sNACks to anybody who can tell me why.
***
I like storms. They hurt.
I can see one now, the clouds block out the sun, reaching high and all powerful into the heavens. The wind laps at the ground, it pushes and pulls, scrambling greedily […]

You guys know the drill.

A Lack of Trust

Written on February 10th, 2008

AN: Well, this is my entry for P5’s Elseworlds contest. Even though I can’t win I thought that I’d enter for fun.
This question is: “What if Artemis could not cheat the mindwipe”.
I’m not very good a chaptered fics or action stories, but we’ll see how this works out. This is the first chapter, […]

Unfamiliar Walls

Written on January 13th, 2008

“What do you know; the crazy girly Captain was right.” The LEPretrieval officer looked like he still couldn’t believe his eyes as he handcuffed the young human who stood before them.
“Opal Koboi came back for more. Who […]

Sick

Written on December 23rd, 2007

A/N: This is a Foaly/Opal piece. So don’t read it if you don’t want to. It’s also semi-dark.

His eyes followed her across the screen, hungrily taking in her appearance. Her body was a work of her own demented genius, her ears unnaturally rounded and her breasts shrunk; she would look like a child if it […]

Spider

Written on December 7th, 2007

A/N: I don’t know if you guys will find this weird or interesting. Well, here’s to hoping!

The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout.

We’re scrambling, flitting upward. Spin webs as fast as you can, ensnare others, strangle them; suffocate them, clear the way to the top. We need to get up, we […]
