”What did you do to him?” asked Artemis.

 ”Well, I kinda did something to him that will keep him sore for a few weeks.”

Artemis winced. Mental note, he thought, never get on the bad side of Captain Holly Short of make her furious. Severe consequences await you if you do.

“Well, that’s the past. What about Candie?”

Artemis thought about that. “I honestly have no idea. The last I saw her, I was still a captive in her house.”

Holly grinned. “Does that remind you of anything?”

 ”Hey! I said I was sorry! Do you have any idea how hard it is for me to say that?!” Artemis retaliated.

 ”Still, I will never forget that mud boy.” With that, Captain Holly Short started the engine to her wings and flew out the window, into the dark, starry night.

      “Artemis, where is that girl that kidnnaped you? I want to know if she likes what I like.”

 ”I hardly think she would like what you like? What you like is brutal fighting,” retorted Artemis. Juilet crossed her arms and walked into the kitchen. Artemis continued inventing a small, blue cube.

 The door burst open and Butler came in. “Artemis? What in the world are you doing?” Artemis sighed. No on understood him. Every time he had tried to explain, they would end up being more confused.

 ”I will tell you once I have completed it. Is there a reason you came in here?”

 ”Yes. There is a girl looking for you. She is a little shorter than you. She has brown hair and moss-green eyes.” Artemis stood abruptly. He walked out of his study and walked into the one of the living rooms.
