This is detecated to Juluis Root and my grandfather that has passed just yesterday.

Stanley Yarmey,August 30th 2010.

Father,Husband,Grandfather,Navy veteran.

Death brings sadness and grief.

Death makes your heart break like a crisp autumn leaf.

Your heart starts to shake and your bones will ache,

Because that’s what death brings.

Death makes it feel like your heart is     F

                                                               A

                                                                 L

                                                                  L

                                                                   I

                                                                    N

                                                                      G

When it hits the bottom the tears come in waves,

Like the beach after a storm.

But death can bring relatives close from afar,

And you know your loved one is better now where they are.

But you must remember the world won’t stop just for you.

You need to pick yourself back up and shake off the tears,

Kiss your family members and let go of your fears.

When death comes your heart fades like snow in the spring…

These are the things that death brings.

  1. Awww…Poodle…That was…beautiful. I lost my Grandfather March 9th this year. I hope you feel better and my sincere condolences. I know how hard it is. I’m sorry.

  2. That’s very touching. The emotion in it and the flow are excellent. There are some definite spelling errors, so it’d be nice if you could go back and fix those, but the poem itself is very nice. If you fix up the spelling, I’ll rate 5/5. I’m very sorry for your loss. 🙁

  3. Thanks guys. AA,I just spell checked and I should have everything ficked. And i know it may seem it doesnt have much to do with artemis fowl, but i just had to wright it somewhere. 🙁

  4. wonderfully written. my condolences about your grandfather. *aplauds the poem loudly*

  5. So sorry for the loss of your grandfather. This is truly beautiful – both the sentiment and the poetry. You have talent. It can be hard to express feelings with other people, and I’m so glad you felt you could do it here. *gives PP40 a big hug*

  6. I’m so sorry. I lost my Nana not too long ago. But life goes on. 🙁
