Undercover (Part 2)

Story Details

“What is it?” mumbled Trubs rolling over in his bed. Artemis and Butler had stayed over at his house that night, Artemis was sat upright in his sleeping bag holding a mobile and Butler was just waking up. The phone made a beep as he pressed a button “That was Minerva, we need to get to the hospital now,” said Artemis getting dressed. Trubs knew what that meant, he was soon dressed as well. Butler was in a suit before anyone else and stood by the door, “Come on, we have to go quickly,” Butler said. They were all out the door and in the speed pod on the way to the hospital. The parking lot came into view and Trubs moved to the door. “What’s wrong,” asked Artemis when he saw Minerva at the door, “Nothing, that’s the thing,” she replied with a smile. She led them to Holly’s room where Holly was sat upright in her bed smiling. Trubs ran over and kissed her on the forehead. “How are you doing,” he said but frowned when he got no answer, “What’s wrong?”  he asked the nurse that came over. Artemis stood next to Minerva at the bottom of the bed with Butler on the other side. “She’s fine, it’s just that the coma has left her without speech for a while. It’ll return.” Trubs turned to Holly she was smiling still, he couln’t help smiling back. Foaly was next to walk through the door, Holly waved at him. “Hi Holly,” Foaly waved back, “I brought luch for you lot, I thought we might be here for a while.” “Thanks,” Holly mouthed.
