*Authors Note: This piece of fanfiction was inspired by my drawing of a person (drawn manga style) that had been split into 2 personalities. It’s my best piece of drawn manga so far (even though I’m not very good) and I plan to make many more (they may also pop up in this story). Happy reading!!! Oh and I forgot to mention the title is french for The Sun and The Moon and some characters may seem a bit OOC*

Chapter 1: What is wrong with the world?

It was summer and Artemis was in his study typing away at the computer with the blasted sun shining down on the back of his new designer Armani suit when all of a sudden all was dark and it seemed to be night time.

“Huh?!?!” said a very confuzzled (a word in between confused and puzzled) Artemis “It’s only 3 in the afternoon! Oh well might as well make the most of things by having a quick well-earned 40 winks.” He saved everything on his computer before shutting it down so it could have a quick well-earned 40 winks. Just when he was about to drift into a deep sleep the sun had decided to annoy him by placing itself directly in front of Artemis’ window and its rays blaring onto the sleeping form.

“D’arvit!! What is wrong with the world!?!?” he cursed under his breath. Just then Artemis’ fairy communicator went off.

“Hey, Artemis?” came an all too familiar voice, it was Holly.

“What?” grumbled an unhappy prodigy.

“We need you, Butler and Minerva down here at once!”

“Be right there!” and with the push of a button the conversation ended and what do you know it’s night time again.

“Aaahhh” Artemis cried as he fell down the stairs. Believe it or not the child prodigy still couldn’t find his way around his own house in the dark.

“Artemis, are you alright???” Butler shouted after hearing the loud thud.

“Yep, just needed to tell you that Holly needs me, you and Minerva immediately.” Artemis groaned whilst trying to get up.

“Kay, I’m on it”

10 minutes later

“What took you so long? Doesn’t matter. As you all should have noticed there’s something wrong with Night and Day.” Holly said

“Yep, we’ve noticed” said Artemis who was repeatedly rubbing his back.

“Well, we aren’t entirely sure what caused it but we think it’s got something to do with The Kingdom of Dlykasia (pronounced der-lie-kar-sha) and The Kingdom of Soleisia (pronounced so-lay-sha)”

“WHAT?!?!?!?!” said 3 voices almost simultaneously.

“I’d love to explain but right now we really must get going. Come on Foaly we’ll need you too.” Holly replied as she grabbed the nearest teleporter and teleported all 5 of them to Tara.

Tara

“Right everybody follow me” Holly commanded as she ran straight into the nearest bush. Foaly followed, then Artemis, Minerva and finally Butler.
