A/N: This is set in the future, also, I got the idea for this from listening to ‘Disturbia’ by Rhianna. Mild language.

Dgersk’s POV

I need to get out of this hell hole, Disturbia is boring; but I’m sure that Earth isn’t. Time for a case of Testing; I feel sorry for the unlucky kid who’s going to take my place.

“Hey Dgersk! Where ya going?” Elfensie asked, running up to me.

“To Earth, there isn’t a place for me at home anymore.” I sighed, hoping that she’d be a good little sister and go home and not tell mom.

“Can I come?” she asked, while I took a swig of Coke.

Doing a spit-take I asked, “What?!”

“You heard me.” she snapped, glaring death my way.

“Fine,” I gritted my teeth, “let’s go.”

She held out her hand, which I ignored. That is, until she glared at me, then I held her hand.

“Are you sure that we’ll be able to? The last time anyone tried it, was thousands of years ago, before we were discovered.”

“Don’t worry, I know what I’m doing.”

Alicia’s POV

“Tommy, Will, it’s time for lunch.” I said, watching them play.

“But we want to pway.” Will pouted.

“Well, I’m sorry about that but aren’t you hungry?” I asked, then froze as I saw something hovering over Tommy and Will’s head. “Look out!” I jumped over and grabbed them, sending us skidding to a halt across the room.

It was then that I saw what the ‘things’ were; spectors. By the time I finally realized that, one sunk into Tommy, and one sunk into me.

Somewhere . . .

“Elcomania aeta Disturbia, oporas lusoas,” someone sneered, standing over us. Despite the fact that I had no clue what language was being spoken, I understood perfectly: Welcome to Disturbia, poor souls,”

“What’s going on? Why are we here?” I asked, hugging Tommy closer to me.

“Dgersk and Elfensie decided that they wanted to leave, and go to Earth. To do that, two humans have they have to go through Testing, along with the two humans whose places they’re taking.

“What’s Testing?”

“It’s unpleasant, that’s what it is; and you don’t want to fail.”

“What happens when you fail?”

You either die and they take over your bodies back on Earth; or you give up your will to live and have to remain in Disturbia and they get control of your bodies.”

“That doesn’t sound wery good.” Tommy said, a thoughtful look on his face; or at least as thoughtful a look as a five year-old could have.
