cool! we have twins on the site! spankin'! Cool
The III Prodigy   [May 11, 2007 at 01:39 AM]
Teehee. I would've drawn Arty and Minerva together, but I prefer colouring. Especially on Photoshop. cathrel, make sure you make nice line art! The picture sucks without neat line art. Being tidy is mostly the key. Wink

Neutral Huh? Line art?
I would launch into my normal wave of Minerva-hating insults, but I have a headache. Ow. It feels like my brain is expanding and is too big for my head.

Minerva's back and arm (s?) look weird. And Artemis's finger is curvy. Shocked His hand looks funny actually. Could this be *gasp* a non-perfect picture by cathrel? Is it possible?

Don't mind me, I'm being melodramatic. But still... *throws silent party that cathrel is not perfect*
PhoenixStarr   [May 12, 2007 at 04:43 AM]
The problem lies with Minerva's back/arm and Artemis's leg.
The III Prodigy   [May 13, 2007 at 12:58 AM]
Nicole, line art is the black stuff around the border. I guess you'd want to know that. And that thing about your brain expanding, even though your intelligence is not measured by the size of your brain, could that be an indirect way of saying 'I'm smart'? Lol.

I think Arty's finger is okay. I mean, seriously, it doesn't have to be like, totally straight. This pic shows that he actually HAS joints.

PhoenixStarr, I know about Artemis's leg, if you looked on the original pic, I got TONNES of comments on the wrong stuff on this pic.

What about Minerva's arm? I think it looks fine, coz if you look from the back, you can see that the perspective is essentially correct.
Nicole_artist   [May 13, 2007 at 01:22 AM]
You should be able to see the back line of Minerva. It looks too wide. Her back, that is.
And normally cathrel does better fingers, as in you can see the angular joints. His thumb looks slightly weird.

But I'm just a critic. Not that my pictures are at all better. Wink
The III Prodigy   [May 13, 2007 at 05:48 AM]
Yah, I know. cathrel, I think, has no time to perfect her drawings! She's too busy drawing more. That's why I'm colouring for her Wink

I sorta noticed that part too. You know, the back part. But I didn't wanna spoil it by drawing using MY style. Coz it's not the best ^^;

Anyways, you're not a critic lol. I criticize, but I just don't mention it...

does any one know how i can change my name on here?? Question oh and 3P did you know that there are four prodigies already? arty, minerva, foaly, and opal. just thought i'd let you know, if you didn't already i mean.
Gerry   [May 15, 2007 at 01:50 PM]
Tatum O Neal is a prodigy. It says so on Wikipedia.
Minerva_fan36   [May 15, 2007 at 04:34 PM]
Gerry thanks for thinking that it cool that were twins. Exclamation there actualy another set of twins at our school and a set of tripplets. this is totaly random, but has anyone seen or read Alex Rider? Question
The III Prodigy   [May 16, 2007 at 01:12 AM]
Tatum O Neal? Is he/she a real person? Coz I think we were talking about in AF.

fairyeyes92, thanks for the fact. I knew that already, but for me, there's only Arty and Minnie. Perhaps I should clarify: The III Juvenile Prodigy.

And plus, the term 'prodigy' means for someone who is smarter than their age, mostly used for youths. Foaly and Opal were probably prodigies, but we never know that. All we know is that they're currently genii. So that means Arty and Minnie are the only prodigies.
fairyeyes92   [May 16, 2007 at 01:32 PM]
we do know that opal was it said so in the book. and is any one going to answer my name question?
The III Prodigy   [May 17, 2007 at 01:13 AM]
Still, Opal and Foaly are like, genii now, they've never been called prodigies. And I should clarify, JUVENILE Prodigy. *shrugs*

What name d'you mean? Screen name? Or real name in your profile etc?
LEP's 007   [May 17, 2007 at 08:02 AM]
Minerva_fan36, yes I've read Alex Rider, the seventh comes out in November Very Happy. I haven't seen the movie yet, though some people say they changed a lot Confused.
The III Prodigy   [May 17, 2007 at 10:31 PM]
The movie's bad. I mean, I watched it first, and could totally tell it was a book-movie adaptation thing. Then I read the book, which was WAY better. I mean, the movie made me not like the book as much even.

I've seen the comic book for sale, but haven't read it yet.
LEP's 007   [May 18, 2007 at 01:02 PM]
I think the comic book isn't so faithful either, I mean, I haven't read it but from what I saw it looks like they changed quite a few things. I know what you mean about the movie sort of influencing your opinion on the book. It happened to me with Eragon, when I first read the book I found it quite tolerable, despite the obvious cliches and plagiarism (no offence Eragon fans). But after I saw the movie, now I down right loathe it. I know, poor reason to hate a book, but despite the changes I think that seeing the movie really opened my eyes to how bad the original was (again, NO OFFENCE Eragon fans, this is just the voice of a major Star Wars fan that feels the story was ripped off).
