Innocent?

PLEASE COMMENT!

Mesuneko did the drawing, and I did the colouring (although I re-did the patterns on the shawl or poncho or whatever you call it and added her colarbones).

The original version was meant to be Opal Koboi, but I thought she looked like Minerva Paradizo so I coloured her like Minerva from the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer. I might actually do another version but make it Opal instead of Minerva...well, anyways, enough of me babbling.

I can't find it. Here's another story: Robert Alexander Schumann was born on June 8, 1810 at Zwickau in Saxony. His father was a publisher and bookseller, so he spent most of his childhood reading and studying music. He even began composing before he was seven. At age fourteen, he contributed a book, published by his father, called The Most Famous Men of all Countries and Periods. In 1828, Robert entered the University of Leipzig to study law, but neglected his studies to play music with his friends. When he was nineteen, he transferred to the University of Heidelberg. Though Schumann still neglected his studies, he practiced the piano seven hours a day.

At twenty-four, he started a music magazine, which he edited by himself for a while. Schumann thought that too much flimsy, worthless music was being published and he wanted a more serious way at looking at music. When he found a fascinating piece, he wrote an article about it. This way, he brought appreciation to Felix Mendelssohn, Frederic Francois Chopin, Sterndale Bennett (English composer), and later, Johannes Brahms. Then, Mendelssohn came to live in Leipzig, and a strong friendship developed between then. Some very beautiful music was published at this time.

When Schumann was thirty, he married Clara Wieck, who’s a famous pianist. The year after, he began composing some more beautiful music. Unfortunately, after a time, Schumann began suffering from delusions. On February 27, 1854, he threw himself into the Rhine, but was rescued by some boatmen. He was rather insane when brought to shore. He had symptoms, such as spells of manic activity and deep depression. Schumann was taken to a mental home in Endenich near Bonn, where he remained till his death on July 29, 1856.

Schumann was one of the greatest German Romantic composers there was. His music has a lot of emotion in it. Often there is a fanciful idea behind it. Sometimes, he reads a book and gets an idea or the song is to “tell” a story; or Schumann composed a piece of music and it reminds him of something, then it is named. He once composed a series of piano pieces called Novelettes dedicated to his wife, Clara.

No, no, no, no, no. It is educational. The Foolish Lion

Once, there was a lion that was a very fast runner. Yet, his mouth was faster because he is a great boaster. There was also the rabbit. He was greatly annoyed by the boasting lion. Sometimes he would hear, “I can run so fast, my own shadow can’t even keep up,” or sometimes, the lion said, “Not even if I gave them a day’s head start, could any animal still beat me.”
One day, the rabbit said, “ If I can beat you in a race, then you must never boast again.” Seeing as the lion was confident he’d win, he agreed.
At the tree where the race was taking place, almost every animal was there; and most of them were cheering for the rabbit. The zebra said, “Ready, set, go!” The rabbit was persistent, while the lion had quick bursts of speed. Still, the lion won.
“I believe I did quite good, even if the lion did win the race,” said the rabbit. Then everyone cheered for him.
However, the lion was still boasting. No one was paying attention to him, so that he roared at the top of his lungs. This awakened the humans, so the humans came out wearing absurd masks and chased the lion all through the day and night.
The rabbit did hear him though. So he gathered all the animals and set out to save the lion. They chased off the humans and saved the lion. “Thank you, thank you. I promise I’ll never boast again,” cried the lion. To this day, the lion kept his promise.
How's that? And ButlersBabe, you need to breath and take advantage of this sitchiation. If you have no more ideas, go do something to fill up the pool, because I am not good at comforting people. And if you feel like that, help someone with something like their chores.
