Airman US Tour

January 5th, 2008

Airman has been released at last (Depends slightly on where exactly you live. You may have to wait another week or 2 if you’re unlucky!). We’ve been talking about it for a while here, but you can read a great overall review of it at the Guardian.

In short, it rocks! It’s slightly darker than the Artemis Fowl series, but perhaps even more clever as well. You’ll have to read it to find out if it suits you. 😉

And from the official site, we’ve just heard that Colfer is going on tour in the US, to celebrate the launch. Have a look at Colfer’s event calendar to see if he’s coming near you.

Has anyone here read it yet? Or planning on reading it?

And The Winner is…

January 1st, 2008

The Fanfiction contest winner is about to be announced.

First I´d like to say that it was an absolute honour judgeing the entries, and they were all amazing. The decision was very difficult, trust me.

I have to say thanks to MaeveCrowArtemis1 for helping with the judging.

And for the winner, I´d like to congratulate Star Jinin, the winner of the contest. The story, An Artemis Fowl Christmas, was an amazing, heartfelt adventure. It was a pleasure to read, and one of the best fanfictions I have ever read.

MichaelM will be in contact with you for the collection of the graphic novel.

Thanks to everyone for their entries, and have a happy New Year!
